So what are you willing to pay for Arcadia YF-19?
skullmilitia replied to 1/1 LowViz Lurker's topic in Toys
Dude wat? The VF-19's were all over 200$, and they didn't include fast packs. This new mold has additional parts. It's going to be no less than 250$ Permitting a miracle. -
Price, maybe final paint scheme, and a few more announcements. Obviously they have stuff planned, considering the Movie Roy was announced a month before Release. Might be some surprises left!
-
Thanks for the intel Guys, I'm off to start my international Macross Heisting. Don't worry, If I hit your place, I'll make sure to sign Ranka on the wall. That way when the police go to find me, the Vajra will protect me.
-
they offered both for certain sets, and singles for other. I'm sure the renewal versions are next on the Bandai's short list releases. Also, I checked out the V1 Tornado parts, What the hell are the wierd missiles on the end of the wings. In the show they were Reaction bombs, so I hope they fix that for accuracy. And if those other missiles were somewhere in the show, the Reaction one's look better anyway.

I'll anxiously awaiting and stalking the HLJ page for the VF-27. It's the last thing I need, until they announce either a VF-25S Reissue, or finally the YF-30.
-
They did it on their own, I was expecting my account to be closed, which would Have been fine. Looks like the VF-27 has a 8/10 release now.

This is only the second time in 3 years they haven't shipping in 24hrs. So I can't say that this is normal for me. AmiAmi can go suck a fat one with their policies. also, NY just canceled my VF-25F order, but I still have my other pre-orders, including sending me an email right after to confirm the VF-27 in 15 days. interesting..
-
Yeah it has happened a few times, I've seen at least two other people that had their stock sold while in their PW. I asked them to cancel the shipping and put my order back to my PW, I Wanted it by tomorrow, and If it's not going to be a timely shipping, then I don't want to pay for fast shipping, only to have it sit for a week.

So... I have to ask, why did Hasbro feel the need to use Chinese Symbols on a US release? Also, Wow is that some BS packing. I'd definitely be pissed.- 16946 replies

I'm sorry, go ahead Arcadia, make them for Mospeada fans, all ten of them.
-
Na, they must be having issues. I paid for express so it would be here by Friday, And it hasn't left processing. I wish they could cancel shipments, at this point is rather just leave it in my Warehouse.

Just bought a bandai Monster loose, now there's a cheaper one on Mandrake. Also for you Max fans, Jungle has a weathered Max.

SDCC 2013 Hasbro Exclusives: Jetfire Skystriker
skullmilitia replied to Chet's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
It certainly is a lazy design. It's too bad the never articulated the Mattel Veritech to at least Go gerwalk. It would be fun to have a 33/4 inch transforming one.- 158 replies

SDCC 2013 Hasbro Exclusives: Jetfire Skystriker

Brian Savage. Hasbro didn't own Bandai's mold, only leased it.There's time limits on licensing agreements. All they can do is stop any remaining stock being sold, And take back mechandise from retailers. Technically speaking, the lawsuit could put a hold on any remaining stock currently Being held by any one that's not a end user. HG can't stop imported goods under the Macross banner. Unless they want to feel Big West's firm size 13. Your Japanese toys are safe lol.- 158 replies

I've never seen HLJ sell web exclusives.

SDCC 2013 Hasbro Exclusives: Jetfire Skystriker
skullmilitia replied to Chet's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
No, because Hasbro doesn't own that license anymore. All they have is the trademark on Jetfire, but that's not IP. When Hasbro licensed the Bandai mold, it was licensing Bandai's License for the IP from Big West. It's the one character that they didn't own IP wise as the toy. Even if Hasbro tried to say, they owned Jetfire IP, from the old Hasbro/MarvelP cartoon, that version was completely different, so that argument would fall flat.- 158 replies

I Already posted this in the SDCC thread, but HTS is not getting the TF/GIjoe cross over sets. The remaining sets were sold to Fun Publications, and they are having a lottery to sell the remaining units to club members. So if that's what you want from HTS, don't bother. Seriously Hasbro, green on the engines?- 16946 replies

You're looking at too many small things that don't matter. All HG has to do to prove violation, is to show that it would confuse a consumer. If you had both of the above on a store shelf, would it confuse the casual shopper. it's obviously yes. IP law is not just small things, it also covers marketplace confusion buy artistic representation.- 158 replies

skullmilitia replied to Chet's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Doesn't matter, it's not the Jet that matters, it's the colors, the placement, the general overall artistic look. tell me this isn't nearly an exact copy artisticly... Remember, a Judge / Jury has to say, they can definitely tell it's a different character.. yeah right.- 158 replies

Look if the design of the toy, is close enough to have consumer's recognizing it as another brand, it's in violation. Hasbro doesn't own the right to the main look of the Robotech veritech fighter. Hasbro only has the rights to the name "Jetfire". and.. really, the Hasbro / Marvel productions Jetfire character looks nothing like the 1980's branded toy. So Hasbro has a lot to disprove, I think they will settle. HG definitely has the right, and they should easily win if it goes to court. HTS isn't going to sell them, the left over's were sold to Fun Publications who owns the Gijoe and Transformers Collector Clubs. They are having a lottery to allow members only to purchase the remaining sets.- 158 replies
