It's called Hasbro fail, because every one of their lines suffers the same problem. That's why they just got overthrown by Lego as the biggest toy company in the world. Even the G'damn Metroplex I just opened has one leg that latches and one that doesn't. So now I have gimp lean metroplex! My Generations SunStorm has a head that moves with a slight breeze, and a backpack that Won't clip in correctly. Springer whose rear spoiler is so lose it's not able to hide like it's designed too. I won't even mention the Beast Hunters crap, that's a whole pile of non-connectable crap. Not too mention I dealt with the same disappointment for a decade when I collected Star Wars. Loose knees, warped feet. Hasbro = fail, most of the time.- 16946 replies

It's kinda weird that it would work for a timeline since Isamu was flying the YF-19 in the last Frontier Movie. While Alto was flying the 29'.

Yep, this is the biggest reason I hated the TRU version. But it's the same with all Hasbro versions. Figures just aren't as tight as the Takara counterparts. Soundwave is just as bad, loose legs, parts to easy to turn.- 16946 replies

It's worth a 100$ to not have a sloppy loose, scratched from the factory blotched painted "masterpiece" though. Seriously I don't know why people go out of their way to avoid the Takara versions. It's such a night and day difference. My Takara Prime stays in the position I move the legs into, while the Hasbro Legs slide because of the slop in the joints. Plus it's EVERY MP that's been made between them. The Takara ones lock, don't have a gap, have no joint slop, not loose joints. While the Hasbro ones are, and have badly done paint apps.- 16946 replies

What I meant was better than TFC's roid rage Devy and Make toys flimsy derpy Devy. The problem I have with transformers fans in General is if someone makes a half assed toy, Just better then Hasbro everyone jumps on the band wagon. Aside from MMC's Predaking KO, all the 3P Combiners are shitacular and overpriced Fan wallet Vampires. People are just too damn impatient for something to be done right. Anything Takara ends up doing will be on a different tier of perfection Compared to the rest. Plus I'm more on paying the guys with the actual legal Right to make the figures as well, not to mention Takara is the source on the source archive Of information on the characters. Cartoon accurate is a perspective. But it's also artistic integrity. It means I expect real elbows, proportioned heads, arms and legs. You know, the crap the right way.- 16946 replies

Those aren't renewals, they're just a second production run of old figures. To which I respond "why?". They were everywhere for a few months. There should be no discussion on hidden renewal'd MP's. We all know Hasbro doesn't work that way.. Or fast. If they don't announce something at NYCC there's Nothing even planned until after Toy Fair. Blaster? Eh meh kinda, I had Blaster as a kid and only liked him because He was the biggest of my transformers. I'll buy the cassettes as singles, but Meh on that. That'll be saved money.- 16946 replies

Why, Takara would probably be way better proportioned, cheaper and have die cast. Plus they would be cartoon accurate. I'm guessing by the fans choice MP figure, that Takara might be looking outside of the G1 era for Masterpieces. To that I say .. Meh.- 16946 replies

Halloween Horror movie discussion!!
skullmilitia replied to Gakken85's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Here's some older fun The Gate Ants ( the suzanne summers version ) Night of the leepers ( I think this one might be a pita to find) Either way giant mutant killer rabbits is always a win. And not horror really, but ruined half my childhood sleep cycles Fire in the Sky. -
Build to order is the way to stay in business. Unless it's Super Parts, they can feel free to mass produce those lol.
-
The YF-19 is a web exclusive so yes it's made to order. These retailers will make thier orders until the window closes. Then just like the VF-4, only cancelations will get you left overs.
-
I hope the details in the Isamu figure stay as is. They are very nicely proportioned. And, April can't come quick enough! Also, that proto picture of the neck, that's definitely The same clip on neck cover as the VF 19's
-
Anyone fluent enough to ask about what we can expect for box art starting with these first releases on Arcadia's twitter?
-
Done! HLJ gets all my orders because I'm always buying hobby goods. 300$ before shipping works for me!

Other than the Japanese only transformers figures. As far as the G1 line goes, after Soundwave we basically need Shockwave and of course a Megatron 2.0. The Insecticons wouldn't be a bad choice for the deluxe MP scale figures in the 50$ range. However I think that Takara should do a combiner, whether it's Devy or Brute. Release one figure every two months. With Devy all the figures would fit in the deluxe scale and in 12 months you'd have a finished Devy. Brute wouldn't work as well, plus I hate thinking of Blastoff as a tiny deluxe. Either way with brutie you'd have Onslaught being a 100+ figure. Still, with Sideswipe, Red Alert, Prowl, Streak, Smoke, Wheeljack, Bee, Jazz (rumored) and Ultra Magnus. We should expect the next one to be a deception.- 16946 replies

So the photos we are seeing are still of the resin prototype. The first shots from the factory will be shown in Nov. Even they will send it back for fixes and repeat.
