  1. I just received customized display plates from Coastal Kits, UK and I have to admit, they are really nice addition to the detolfs! The customization concerned the scale 1:60 down from 1:48 and also the size to fit the detolf shelves.
  2. Really nice works milkautico and ahab!
  3. I've almost finished a simple version of it, I would like to have a look at yours too! In the mean time I began studying the X-9 and couldn't find a proper top view of the ghost, so I had to make one from the 3/4 top view. From the first comparison peaks, I told myself that this thing is big! This is the draft printed to 1/60 scale (with the ghost being 14m long /60= 23.33cm)
  4. I am quite excited by this lighter than the anime color for the 0A, it means that the 0S will match together better than the older Yamato version
  5. They can release a VF-0A or 0S with an additional "Air intake" decal ! Just an idea
  6. I recently noticed how different the VF-1D canopy is from the single-seater VF1s. The difference is like Night and Day, or like the recently released VF-0D compared to the 0A version! I just can't think of Arcadia NOT making a revised / longer canopy for the VF-1D now. However, VT-1 and Elit were good !
  7. I made an adapter for Bandai's on shapeways, so technically also compatible http://www.shapeways.com/product/YJWYAK2QJ/y2b-attach?li=search-results-1&optionId=42943069
  8. Nicccce!
  9. It seems like a perfect match! thanks I am working slowly on a model, but I believe that Arcadia should do a mold of it together with the X-9 and reap money off these!
  10. What does the Japanese text says about the small rear trap?
  11. They are almost ready, you will get them very soon!
  12. I opened my alto 171 and I think I figured out why the CF pictured broke. On my alto, the metallic pin is fixed into the foot side plastic (the red portion on the picture above), on the CF it is fixed to the plastic inside the thigh (black on the picture above) and this is why when rotating the leg, this pin literally eats and sand the plastic on the leg side, which is compressed by the knee spring, therefore this plastic explodes. On the alto, the pin is fixed to the knee plastic, and "eats" the plastic inside the thigh, this piece is made of a heavy duty/self lubricating plastic, so it doesn't explode. The exploded knee plastic piece should be easily made on shapeways using polished steel, the major problem is that it is very difficult to get access to this part and replace it... I have opened it up to pictures shown, but now I got to open the leg from the ankle side to open the knee, not done yet!
  13. Great, please keep us updated!
  14. That's true, but in the 1:1 scale, the mechanism is very much smaller. With the 1:60 VF-1s, the back landing gears mechanisms use a big portion of the internal space and could eventually be redo with these smaller mechanisms to be perfected. I much prefer these mechanisms if they could enhance the design and articulation, not if they are used only for simpler implementation of course!
  15. You are playing safe by not openning the low part of the gun!
  16. She got lip-sticked ! Nice touch
  17. That is the kind of price I am looking for this 29 !
  18. But the 0D CF is yet to be tested! I'm in for sure.
  19. Nice squad! Obviously we need at least 3 0D on display to give all the shades of blue this color can do.
  20. Really nice angle!
