Saburo's fix for Tornado is magical, I must thank you for it too
I could get the Armored 25s together with the 25F "Atmosphere version" Tornado (I much prefer this version compared to the complete version).
Anyway, if you get the 25F much higher, I am pretty sure you can have the Full Tornado to fit into the space.
Sorry for the bad quality, phone and dark room doesn't go well together

What if he tries to spray some acrylic gloss varnish? To me it would be less opaque if using something like http://www.humbrol.com/coatings-thinners/varnishes/spray-varnishes/35-acrylic-varnish-gloss-150ml-spray-varnish.html

I have a 25G Tornado and 26G Super displayed in fighter mode on a yetistand and it fits nicely on a detolf shelf. When I tried 25G Tornado and a 25F armored in battroid mode, there was no room to display both nicely on a detolf shelf.
Challenge accepted, I have to try it this weekend

Thank you. They are awesome. I wanted the 25G with Tornado Parts but the wings are too large to fit in my Detolf with another Valk.
I made the 25F in fighter with tornado and the VF-27 in battroid. The 25F is on a flightpose stand though, I am pretty sure a small arm yeti stand could do the same

Nice VF-4! The stickers rsally bring the details up to a new level

I admit that I would be in for the grey version too, that double seat nose in grey mounted on my VF-0A = total awesomeness!!

I had the angle ones snap on me. Dammit!!! I really like those ones. I know they're brittle in the F.U.D., but how much to do those in metal? Would they end up costing too much? How much stronger are the WSF versions?
If only they could switch their FUD material with a much stronger resin that would be delightful, I have given up so many design because of that...
Brass could be a solution if the antennas are not less than 1mm diameter, but much more expensive unfortunately.

I got you covered....
Does that mean that a Yetistand can handle and display a Detolf or at least a Detolf shelf ??
Compared to the Klingsbo the Detolf do have a slightly smaller shelf surface area but.. the Klingsbo have a much more shallow shelf height which make things equally if not more challenging to display than the Detolf.
I would say the Detolf are the superior cabinets in terms of display options and pricing! I kinda regret buying the Klingsbo, originally when I researched both cabinets I thought the extra surface area and 5th shelf of the Klingsbo would work out better but I was wrong.
The Detolf is becoming a standard for Macross display, or kind of until someone find one. Without stands, I think Klingsbo could be superior but once you got battroid mode on a Bandai stand, the Detolf height is a already tight fit.

so while I was still awake and suffering from a continuous streak of boredom I had a little brainstorm and came up with an idea to get rid of the ugly black stand base for the Luca RVF-25 Ghost Fighters!
Drilled a few holes in the base of the Flight Pose stand and it worked perfect! Ok so its kinda follows the same idea the pegged YetiStand Alpha uses.. so it wasn't completely my idea.. Thanks Yeti!

On the first pic, I said myself that this idea was saving a LOT of space because you still have so much room for a the dynamic 25G pose in that detolf... Then on the second pic, this isn't a detolf !
The detolf is so challenging when you got to put these Bandai releases and their fast packs/tornados and ghosts!

I hope they won't mess with the plastic again!

It happened to my Yamato VF-1S Roy "30th anniversary" edition. Perhaps they were in a hurry for this last production before switching to Arcadia and less QC?

Looks like a very solid CAD software

VF-0S!? Damn I thought I was done with the VF-0D this year!

What? Wait! This booster paint scheme is exquisite! Nice custom!

What do you mean with or without the lower triangle fit?
There are 2 triangles that fold one into the other. They both are prone to breakage.
The larger one, the upper one, is the more visible and it folds into the shoulder when transforming.
The lower one, folds and hide itself into the part that becomes the batroid chest. It has small impact on the fighter esthetic and I can't do a replacement part for it, mainly because the part is too slim.
If your lower triangle is not broken, then you should take the version with the "lower triangle fit". This version has a cavity where the lower triangle comes and fit into the NUNS triangle.
If your lower triangle is broken, you better order a Upper triangle wihtout this hole for the "lower triangle".

Big update for colored version!
I finally was able to put all the textures correctly and after dozen of dozen emails with Shapeways services, I got 4 versions ready for "FULL COLOR PLASTIC" material.
You can have a look at the models here:
http://www.shapeways.com/shops/xigfrid3dshop?section=VF-171+NUNS+textured
There are the VF-171 CF version triangle with or without the lower triangle fit and the ALTO (red and black) versions.
The good news is that it is cheaper than what I expected! 15 USD for a set of left and right triangles. Unfortunately, this material is available only to the designer for the moment, let's hope it would be made public soon. That means that if you want one now, you would have to send me a PM.

What a weird auction, looks like someone had time to panel line but not enough care to keep the accessories?
That's totally weird, knowing the price of a VF-4G and the Arcadia YF-19 on resell market, he panel-lined his and even stickered them and then wanted to sell it one year later?

Solscud just emailed me this last week. Looks interesting. I'm not sure if you can use it for resin molds as resin heats up as it's curing. So it'll melt the surface of the mold. You might want to freeze the plastimake right before pouring resin into it, but then it'll become a tedious process. Injecting this into a rubber mold might work though.
Are you sure of that? I use 48H curing epoxy resin and I know it can be heated to 100°C to cure stronger, but I doubt it heats up that much by itself

Sounds great for resin molding !

That's a pleasure and thank you for the support!
Except If you leave in the USA where Shapeways shipping costs are affordable, you should consider to order both of the two available versions: the one with and the other one without the lower triangle fit.

Haven't seen this config before, very nice! Well, there is a similar configuration at the Macross museum, but it doesn't count, does it?
Hum, that makes me want 5 of Ikaru's VF-1J now!
