  1. This 0S is my favorite valk ever: color scheme, head sculpt and massiveness. Thank you Saburo for making so nice pictures of all these valks! My latest phone screensaver: I will insist on the previous requests: if you make a book of these count me in!
  2. That's also my favorite detail of the model. Cool8r was the control aera in the original kit or did you custom made it ?
  3. This fix was so easy at the end that I felt unsatisfied when my YF-19 was assembled back with the wings tight in all 3 positions! I can't believe Arcadia haven't figured it out already... I had disassembled the whole wing but in final, the fix doesn't require any screw removal, you can fix it directly from any mode, because the only thing you need is a 2mm long x 1mm wide x 1 mm high plastic scraps, such as plastic cards, WSF leftovers, etc... First step: With a pencil, write a small mark on the bottom of the wing, to indicate the area where the hole finishes. -This hole was designed to accept the metal arm for High Speed mode position- 2nd step: Take the small scrap of plastic, and glue it over the pencil mark. The plastic scrap should be aligned with the wing short side. Let the superglue dry and THAT'S IT! Fighter mode: Battroid mode: High speed mode:
  4. That's incredible to find a SV-51 Ivanov nowadays.
  5. Thanks everyone for the support! Just received the new parts for the ghost, all of them are great, so the X-9 is still in progressing. I also received the 38mm scale Sharon. Even before sanding and priming she was so great that I decided to add two versions of it into my shop. I love it displayed with the Ghost, but it can also match the YF-19 or 21 if you feel so!
  6. I am trying to decide if I should go further and make a resin kit of this X-9 or not. I need to know if I got enough interest to launch a production series. As many of you know, the minimum quantity is 20 for a production series. Price for an unassembled/unpainted version would average between 170-200 USD. Description: Total of 25-30 parts, mix of resin parts, 1x clear canopy and 5x flexible 3D printed parts. All the parts are assembled and stay together with 4 screws for the X-9; 2 screws for the Super parts. Retractable wings Retractable bottom wing Options: 1) mounting+painting 2) Retractable wheels (3D printed steel parts with rubber tires and flexible plastic assembly Since painting and wheels material costs really changes with number, tell if you want any of the options or not, that would be helpful
  7. That s right, here is a comparison pict , the right one is obviously my copy taken with a phone camera Sorry for the off topic guys!
  8. I won't blame you, I did paint my YF-29 isamu top nose in black so that it has the same pattern of the other 29s and 25s... Although that I absolutely know this is not correct. Damn these small chip of paint can be buggy!
  9. I don't want to buzz your decision, but to me the new paint was a revelation compared to the old Yamato choice. To me, the paint is much more accurate to a "Shin" scheme. In episode 5, you can see both Shin's 0A and Roy 0S side by side on the aircraft carrier. And Shin is plain grey when Roy's frame is black.
  10. My Arcadia 19 also has the loose ankles but I recently discovered that it mainly affects only the 5 degrees around the center position, where the battroid stands straight. Well the quick fix is to use a more dynamic battroid position to use the ankles in more extrem angles, or play with the 2 axis ankles to have tight standing position.
  11. Mounting valks on the wall is really neat indeed. I wished I could put mine out of the detolf safely... but with the kid around, they won't be for sure!
  12. Like spanner, I think this would be beyond imaginable! Derex, this Falcon Millenium is beautifull, I hope your boss will like it very much
  13. I really like this design, not the paint! I want to know more of the story now

    Bandai DX VF-31

They just don't know how to display this weapon pod, so they hide it in battroid? Anyway, I feel I can wait until I get to watch a few TV episodes before grabbing one of these 31.
  15. No worry, Jasonc and I are going to fix that quickly and the recast of the main wing will restart very soon!
  16. Don't worry, with my custom paint scheme I believe I will be last
  17. I finally made 1:60 Sharon Apple who would perfectly pose with this drone. It's on the incoming test batch I called it "Sharon hacking into the X-9"
  18. I have been sanding the prototype parts and refining a few of them in CAD. Now it's time to order them from the 3D print services and the long wait before reviewing them starts again.
  19. An O-ring would not hold in place, but I think the front gear size is the same as the VF-1 ones.
  20. Same issue for me, if Arcadia can have the wings fixed, I will buy one! Otherwise, I will try to find a printable great fix!
  21. It can be an exploding beauty, chaosyeti's fix would fix it stronger!
  22. If they want to, they can send me a PM, I am totally open to all kind of negociation. But seriously, that would be dreamfull if Arcadia actually wants to make a toy from my design, I would be glad to help.
  23. X-9 is smarter than these VFs commoners: it doesn't take off with a catapult, it launches with its own pod from submarines! Well mine can fold its wings so the launch pod is always a later possibility http://www.macross2.net/m3/macrossplus/x9-ghost/x9-ghost-launch-lineart.gif
  24. These metal parts had me all pumped up on this project, I have fixed most issues and trying to enhance a few other things in the process now
