  1. Waiting for these displays NZEOD, they already loo epic! Derex I wish I had your dexterity for painting... My Vajra got final and perfect wires: 1) 0.5mm diameter Copper for the rear legs 2) 0.7mm diameter Copper for the head and front legs I finished then the tail using a glow-in-the dark wrist band and the eyes with some super-glue+baby powder mix. It also got stress-tested by my daughter haha ! It succeded and got a revenge from a 1/72 size figure Now I need to figure out if it needs matte or glossy finish, any idea ?
  2. You are just right on time to make a reservation. I will let you know when it's time to pay.
  3. Yours have probably been put apart to be sent together with your 1:60 drone
  4. Thanks for the confirmation! I have been preparing the assembly manual lately and just finished the box art:
  5. Hi Jeff, theoretically your drone should have been sent 1 or 2 weeks ago. If you haven't received it yet, please confinrm it with Jasonc. Feel free to let me a PM if you need anything else

    Bandai DX VF-31

It reminds me the VF-25 V1... Oh well time to wait until these VF-31 Version 2!
  7. Combined shipping will definitely be cheaper. I don't know yet by how much. At first thought it can probably be the same price for up to 2 ghosts based on the weight.
  8. Nice and thank you! I will update 1st post soon, when I receive and clean the parts.

    Bandai DX VF-31

The front landing gear obviously doesn't slide inside, just like the 25s' ones I am wondering how the DX version will differs
  10. If Arcadia would ever make a VF-1D version3, the cockpit should match exactly these proportions! Just perfect to the eye!
  11. Amazing built so far! Nice addon MT, this project is progressing nicely
  12. Absolutely GORGEOUS ChaoticYeti! Did you plan to make at some point a "dust umbrela" ?
  13. Would like a couple of red ones also, just give us the OK to PM you our address!
  14. Believe me, this thing is truer to life than what you would expect! I am still undecided if I keep this wristband tail or if I make on from a tube assembly Riding the VF-25F like a boss!
  15. That's possible but indeed odd, because the price would be at least three times higher. That's the reason of making a resin kit
  16. I have been working on this one today since I just bought 0.6mm diameter steel wire. Steel wire was so tough, that I scratch the paint when trying to pass the wire through the figure. At the end, the Vajra is really tight now, I will probably look for a weaker metal wire. I also need to fix the paint before sealing it, but I couldn't resist to take a few pictures as is.
  17. In a week or so I will have the resin parts, I will then need the payments. Once I got the payments, I will place a global order on Shapeways to have the plastics parts and the Metal parts for the landing gears if needed. This adds 2-3 weeks until I receive the Shapeways parts and ship the kits.
  18. Great idea aajin, I just update the 1st post accordingly. "The Master is now complete and the production has started. I am taking pre-orders NOW. No payment required until painting starts." The kit is 1:60 scale, sorry no 1:72 scale for the moment. Prices are as follow: 150 USD the complete resin kit and 3D plastic parts for missiles and screws. If you want it painted you should add 50 USD. And for the retractable stainless steel + Rubber tires landing gears, you should add 50 USD also.
  19. I thought that having these ready to ship would convince a few more, I hope so though.
  20. I received earlier than expected some pictures of the production, I wanted to share them with you:
  21. My hope is this being released sooner: I really can't get excited by the Delta things right now...
  22. Seems it is in the pipe! http://hobby.dengeki.com/event/180838/ EDIT: just realized that this thing is probably in 1:100 scale, but it is a good sign for the DX line anyway
  23. I've just received the "crystal clear nylon elastic" lines, and they are so not tight that I decided to go all the way with metal 0.5mm wires to replace the too big copper wire I already used. They are ordered and on their way now! In the mean time I began the slight sand the figure and applied the first primer layer, I already love this Vajra! And you know what ? If the metal wires are strong enough, that would push me to go bigger, you see what I mean, bigger like the red ones
  24. You are correct. The options involve some expensive components such as metal 3D printing parts and a lot of additional personal work. If I could just outsource these in a factory that would be much cheaper but for an even larger production...
