  1. That's a great fix, but I really need to examine these wings closely to try to make one with the high speed mode. Since I have one already opened, I really don't have any excuse!

For those on the fence of opening theirs, the wing should have some glue, just take a regular flat screwdriver and make your way inside the wing and pry it gently until the glue cracks. Once opened, you don't really need to glue the wing back together, the screws are sufficient. The glue just make the wing perfectly seamless

Another update. Almost done with the armor. I can now focus on the VF-1 and redo some parts. The thigh that got seam fixed opened up again.

I liked both the previous and this schem, this head is really nice, the more I see it the more I want to make the complete upgrade set...

i still got an unpainted version lying around

It's just paint on the outside. You can get it off with some cotton swabs and rubbing alcohol.

The painted black stripes were on the inside or you have repainted them before applying the tint?

  4. I am selling my YF-29 Ozma + Super parts, shipping internationally from Europe included in the price: SOLD

The figure has been transformed in battroid and displayed in a cabinet. It is in very good condition.

I can sell the YF-29 and supers parts separately

so the Workroid model could be modded into a Cheyenne?

If I were Bandai and made molds, I would do small addons to screw on the Workroid parts to convert them. As I use 3D printing and it only costs me time to edit the current Workroid file into an optimized Cheyenne II, that what I would do.

MT: It looks like a kit made of cut plastic board, which make sense because there are very little curves in this model. This is only guesses since I didn't know of this kit either.

  6. I was missing a few colors to complete the arms and legs, but I finished the canon and almost the head (a bit of eye-liner there and there)

i really really like the color scheme. I don't know why in frontier the vajra don't look as good as when you got it in the hands... the color mix in the vajra is super nice. Probably because the production has never used enough light on the vajra to make their colors pop.

Last picture: I thought a little glow in the dark would be nice, and they also react to UV light :)

Isnt it also the same one that was in Macross Zero?

Its a Cod Piece weapon... highly effective  STI defence

Originally, you got the Cheyenne 1st version in Macross Zero, the Cheyenne II is supposedly just an upgraded version with nuclear engine but since the two franchises were made differently, they look a bit different. I think that in Zero the Cheyenne looks buffier.

In delta, the Workroid is 80% à Cheyenne.

  8. I would look at the anime, since the valk was CG animated it should already be a good compromise between "official" line art and realistic design. If both are the same, then you should be fine!
