Congrats Derex!
Nyankodevice, is this thing supposed to be that huge !? Looks like only one of this unit can replace a whole VF1 squadron!
-
This pose is awesome, let the preorder starts now!

I am also in for 1 Ivanov. I am really expecting straight wings for this V2, even with a lot of CA glue reinforcement the original one couldn't keep on the weight of the missiles and booster. The cheaper Hasegawa could...

These are probably a repaint of these F-14. http://www.diecastairplane.com/store/p/187631-F-14A-Tomcat-VF-1-114-Top-Gun-Movie-Maverick-Goose-1-72.html
Were the Macross versions a wonder fest limited edition?

These camo schemes are inspiring NZEOD. Looking great on the 21

Why didn't they release the Cheyenne I together with it, and we would have the scene complete!
For the future I wish Arcadia don't mess Nora's gold accents. At least this one won't bother us if it got pinkish white

Speechless !

Looking nice and I welcome the SV.-51

lol very creative... though i thk some might lose their minds if it really turns out to be SDF related...
The SDF-1 commander bridge in 1:60 scale! I say that because I have been wondering about making the Macross Frontier bridge for some time now.

Very nice. Plan to make it in 1/72?
No plan for the moment, we can discuss about that in PM.

I would love to too! Even if it is not a crap load of money, I would be glad to

Looking really nice! I wish I had a quality printer at home too. These printing services cost a lot in comparison.
-
Looks like a SDF... if this is the case, I am deceived

Working on the rest of the body right now. I am trying my best to not overdoing things ... I guess I made a bit too much on articulation and moving parts in the chest ! Just to give an idea of the scale, the chest is only 6 cm high and features: 2 horizontal rotations, 3 verticals and a lot of moving parts

for me, yf-21 takes the cake heheh...basically a clown face without a mouth saved by being recessed into an intimidating cowl over it...
The SV-51 and VF-17D come close seconds..
That YF-21 head is just like an old transformers toy in the 80's - 90's. I really can't remember it clearly but I am sure the 21 has been greatly inspired by it.

Saw this in a shop in Hong Kong last Friday at the Ins-Point mall for HK$1,380 (US$177), but I didn't buy as I don't have any Arcadia VF-0 toys.
You should really grab a VF-0S, it is flawless and the color scheme is very attracting. I really like the 0D and 0A, but thats probably because I don't have the falling legs issue. The engineering is really good and the tolerances are very tight. Among all my Macross stuff the new VF-0 are the ones that feel the less as "toys" and the more "collectibles"

enphily: That's some serious yellowing, have you tried to clean the yellow parts with an electric teeth brush + toothpaste? I had my Yamato VF-1J back to white using this.

With the 0 armor releasing now, Arcadia would better announce a new mold.
-
What about this VF-0B in the Hasegawa paint schem!?
-
Ho yeah! This is really amazing Arbit

I am amazed how fast is modelling with Rhino3D

Another bad memory is the 25 renewals... when nobody expected it.
But being honest, the 31s are great toys and even if I can see some improvements to be made, rear wheels too small-better canopy painting, I don't think a renewal is justified.
Re issue probably but not before 2 years
What do I need to learn in order to 3D print things? Where do I go to learn?

This is not really hard. I can explain a few steps in detail:
1) make the general geometry of the dice, 6-side dice would be a cube, pretty easy with any 3D cad software.
2) draw / write the letters and wolf head on a surface, raise the letter and the head with the cad tool called "push/pull". Then copy paste them on each face of the cube dice.
3) make a few "push/pull" to create the contouring of each number.
4) upload it to a 3D printing service that can print in laser sintering metal (Shaepways equivalent would be "steel"), order one.
5) darken the steel dice with , which ever method you prefer: search google for "steel darkening method"
6) with a sand paper, clean the extruding numbers and geomtries.
