  1. Don't worry, ask anything you want to know "how" and I will gladly help. If you are concerned about the assembly, everything is as simple as clipsing the missiles on their pylons, and then clipsing the pylon into the wing tabs.
  2. Making this pose stable should have taken a lot of efforts... Special mention to your tenacity !
  3. That's a crazy number of custom cuts! You should have used more standard lengths when possible
  4. My fav combo missiles so far
  5. My new favorite color is officially light gunmetal aka TS-42. Added the canopy to the PaCSWS-2C.
  6. I think I read 5000 unit in premium finish, but not totally sure
  7. That's probably a good idea if applied as a thin mist with an airbrush, it can be evenly applied and semi transparent.
  8. Lacking inspiration for modeling so I have reader a few reviews and stopped at the Light Metallic Blue TS-54 as a paint base according to this one. also I have been playing with my child and phosphorescent painting and called it the "Tiger shark camo theme"
  9. Lookinggreat standard to me

Please don't make me blush with the guru! I am not By the look of the color and stress applied to the part, I guessed that it was made out of metal, but if it is a plastic part no wonder it breaks easily. For these kind of small articulation ball I would reinforce the arm with an inner metal pin or make the whole thing in metal instead Sorry but I don't have any Hmr, but if it is plastic and large enough to be drilled and pinned, mechaninac's solution would be great

If the part is pure metal, you can try to disassemble it completely and bring the 2 parts to your jeweler, he can probably solder them back
  12. Absolutely gorgeous photos @Saburo! The last one is also my favorite, does the helmet comes with the figure? It really looks alike the Frontier helmets, in Roy color them though.
  13. Are you planning to print it via shapeways or locally?
  14. a little more progress of this week
  15. Elvis King version you meant ? Hell yeah, we need the white not white knight Draken before the green ones!
  16. Hey guys, keep in mind that even if a modeler wish to help, he won't be able to help until you completely disassemble the broken part and take pictures / measurements / or send the broken part to him. Once you make these steps, modeling the part should be a piece of cake
  17. Yeah the new material is really a step forward for 3D printing: sharper details than the classic WSF for only an additional 1.00$ i can't wait when they fix the beta test issues and make it available for purchase
  18. I really like the Octo's head and torso. I am almost done with the torso too. But the rest of the body and transformation is a nightmare to imagine and model. Taking it as a 3D challenge helps me going on this one... I am really tempted to make a bust only of the octo a picture to grasp the scale
  19. Thank you ! @electric indigo you get use to it once installed @pengbuzz is this in scale with your SDF-1?
  20. I really like it so far, I just hope that the precision faults were just a bug for early beta tests. The material feels and acts just like WSF, not that easy to sand so but extremely durable and playable like plastic Because you need less sanding, the material really holds well small details. The resolution is 10x less than FUD, I would say that HP Wsf keeps 0.2mm details perfectly visible, where classic WSF would be around 0.5mm. Cost for the moment is the same as WSF+1$. Thank you @slide, and yes this is the one @505thAirborne
  21. the Force is strong in the Octo
  22. With Isamu's help, the cockpit size is validated!
  23. Also receive this little head today. They have been test mostly in the new black HP WSF and the antennas are in Grey HP WSF from Shapeways. I have been very impressed by the finishing of both polished (black) and the untouched (grey) materials, but the print accuracy is somewhat weird compared the the traditional WSF, resulting in more cut and sanding to make all the parts fit together. If you wonder when the rest of the Octo will be ready? Well it is in progress and depending on how much anime magic needs to be resolved, it can take some time
  24. Receive the TMM and PaCSWS-2C missiles and quickly assemble them. This is the new Black HP WSF material, I did just a bit of sanding, no primer, no paint.
