  1. For filament printing, i usually use this website: www.3dhubs.com Using this plateform, you can find your nearest printer service or choose one that have your favorite color/ material. There is user ratings and comments to help you choose, I like that.
  2. Awesome project, add me on the list! My main grippe about the Prophecy is the weird shape of the dual seat canopy, is it something that you can do?
  3. @wmkjr is 100% right. I can add that the 3rd one is seen in Frontier only equipped with the missile pods, but in Delta it is seen with and without it. They are all made and tested for 1:60, but the Cheyennes (all except the Workroid) have been built to be able to be scaled down to 1:72 -with minor fixes-
  4. I am on your side @mickyg for FUD material, it costs really too much for what it does. I only use it for clear parts. However, the major downside of FUD to me is not it's price but the fact that it is brittle and can break really easily compared to WSF.
  5. I thought I almost finished the destroid family when I discovered a new variant in the Macross Frontier movie. This is a Cheyenne II equipped with a rotary gun without the reversed manipulator hand.
  6. Your pod is looking awesome really. Are you planning to make the Speaker pod ? If not, that's something I am interested and that I can try once you fix the files. Making different versions depending on the material use is a good idea, but to me this is a "FUD" trap... Once you make all the details to optimize FUD resolution, you can't go back to WSF "1mm" detailing.
  7. Hi Sildani, If you don't glue the FUD tips of the missile you can still wipe the paint and add a bit of sanding, that's the way to do with WSF! About the missiles in the legs drones compartment, I think it would be easier to wait until the release of the 31A and just copy its part if it fits the Delta platoon Vf-31s. At least it should.
  8. Hehe, mine just arrived too. I couldn't free some time for image reference yet though. I will probably paint it next week together with a bunch of 3D printed parts
  9. This color scheme is really nice! The tornado pack is my favorite and on the YF-25, it gives it a "Paladin" vibe.
  10. That scale looks like very funny to play with @NZEOD
  11. Thanks guys ! @Sanity is Optional All the parts for the Cheyenne II are ready to be printed, that means that they are 1mm thickness safe. I also already made the sprued version and uploaded to Shapeways. I am missing the missile launchers, the ones on the shoulders, I want to make them compatible with the Cheyenne I, "Missile launchers only, without the rotary cannon" as shown below (picture extracted from Macross Zero). I need to make sure that both attachments on the Cheyenne II and the Cheyenne I will be compatible. There is a promo on Monday till next Monday: free shipping for owners so probably the order will be placed by then
  12. I have been working on the Cheyenne II (Frontier and Delta) and it is complete minus the "missile launcher pods". The Cheyenne II have been greatly improved over the first version Cheyenne that was in service during Macross Zero. The Cheyenne II has a nuclear motor, reworked shoulder, bigger rotating guns, equipped with a removable large canon attached down the hands. It also can also be equipped with missile launcher on top of its shoulder, the leg design has been modernized to move more on the wheels than walking. The good part for this project is that the Cheyenne II has most of its articulations the same as my previous project the Workroid, so I could concentrate only on the lines. The Work Destroid and the Cheyenne I will be the next ones and I also plan to make a few upgrades on my current version of the Workroid. Enjoy!

    Bandai DX VF-31

I really hope the release version canopy will stay clear without the metallic paint.
  14. I would love to read all the novels one day. Anyway, there are very few pictures that are not already on the web. I can post them
  15. Haha, seriously there are at least 400 pages, I can't imagine to scan the 2 novels... But I can ship them to someone who will scan and translate them !
  16. Amazing shot, great lighting. Is it a wide angle lens? I love the perspective.
  17. Amazing job Jasonc! I knew you would do justice to this kit. Abiut the shoulders, I thought like you before I saw this picture. I am looking forward to see your mod anyway
  18. Hell yeah, the paint plus the tattoos are perfect for this figure! are you going to put the shoulders armor on? They will mask a part of the tattoo markings
  19. In fact, there is this accessory that can turn the Arcadia transparent display stand compatible for Bandai valks. Which is better than using the black Bandai display stand, I think. The only downside is that I think Arcadia's stand is also discontinued now ... Anyway if you find an acrylic display stand, cheaper than ChaoticYeti, that you want to adapt for your Arcadias/Bandais valk, let me know so I can try yo adapt it.
  20. I will take it as a compliment ! thank you
  21. Well, not so long ago, the 30th anniversary VF-1J was a shelf warmer and at barely 60$! Not mentioning that there was plenty of VF-1A unassemble kit around. It looks like this time is over. Sigh
  22. Thanks for the idea, but I thought that the GoPro adapters would be enough as the GoPro accessories have already plenty of stand bases.
  23. All these figures are roughly in 1:60 scale
