I panicked too, ordered at Nin-Nin first, then one with CDJ. How bad is it to recover the money with Nin-Nin if they don't deliver ?
-
Well not exactly, my order was only 10 away from the latest shipped order and now it seems being skipped by NY... refreshing my mailbox again... France is not a common destination though

I was pretty sure they were almost the same fold booster (at first sight). If the difference is minor, I wouldn’t mind Bandai to reuse it for the 31A under the anime magic argument. I mean sometime, the VF toys are really inaccurate and far from what we see on screen.
-
Thank for the support @Mommar! I only hope that you will find some time to polish these or perhaps you can commissioned. As far as I am concerned, I prefer the TMM over the smaller AMM-SQ but I can make them just for the sake of accuracy to the Master file.

Thing is that I really plan to make a "renewal version" of the X-9 ghost at some point with better engineering and if I can with some esthetic improvements. I have a few plans for the near future already, but that would be cheating on RTKF if I were to sell them the current Master
-
Hi Rogueload, that honors me unfortunately I have no recast kits anymore. I still have the plastic "Master" I can sell if you think you can sand a few parts and paint the kit yourself. If any interest leave me a MP to discuss it. Otherwise, you can ask on the "WANTED" section, perhaps you will have more feedback there.

Amazing painting skills

I think that they can become a serious third Macross toy manufacturer. They use plastic injection as their first iteration where the others were only trying resin kits. I will support them as much as I do with Arcadia because Bandai makes great toys but they are killing the competition (YF-19, VF-1 next and probably YF-21?) and the PO madness is just insane...

I could toothpaste it inside, but the issue was to sand the inside flat first with larger grit. I can’t insert any of my tools and I am afraid to sand it directly with sand paper. @wmkjr this canopy has been 3D printed with clear resin, just like Tage’s canopy, I haven’t thouroughly tested the resistance but it looks stretchier and stronger than FUD

This can happen, remember that the DX YF-19 has been advertised with this booster.

Hey arbit, I didn’t know this technique. I would love to see it in action if you have a link to a video or a tutorial. On an another hand I have made some research and found that those nylon print material can be effectively smoothed with Toluene, hand brushed or vapor. Now I need a friend working in chemical to source some for me... back to these canopies... I have sanded a similar canopy and since the outside is generally not an issue, I have had hard time to find a good tool to sand the inside side. Then just spraying TS-13 clear over it. I am not entirely satisfied with my latest test but the result were nice

Yep sketchup, it is so user-friendly that you can probably export your first 3D model to print in less than 1 day of software learning time. Don’t hesitate to ask any question if needed.
