This just came together yesterday. I need to do some work on one of my wings, but that will have to wait for the weekend, along with my new larger mantelpiece. The Tornado parts stick out so far behind the Valk that I am hesitant to leave it up there with its siblings. --G

If you don't mind me asking, how much did that set you back? I got Alto's for about $300 around Christmas (Amazon.com). Don't have Ozma yet, and am curious how small my chances of getting his armor are....

That was really weird. When I posted this, I couldn't see the past ten or so posts. My response was right after spanner76's. Apparently, I'm having some caching problems. At any rate, as wmkjr inferred, I was (somewhat jokingly) offering up my Armored VF-1J as a test subject. I haven't had the chance to buy one of your stands yet, but I can put the adapter on and hold it upside down to see if ithr Valk will stay on the adapter. I'd be happy to mail it back to you with pictures and comments as well. I covet your stands, but I'm still growing my collection, and just prior to my most recent purchase my wife made me promise that I would never buy anything again. Ever. Fortunately, she'll probably forget that in a few months . . . . Since I can't afford one right now, I thought that the least I could do was offer to help, to the extent I can. Sorry for the weird post. I'm not sure why my phone decided to a weeks' worth of posts. --G

Nope. Send me one and I'll test it out. 😃 Of course the test might be more reliable when I get a stand, but I can check if it will lock in.

Thank you. I was worried. Do you have a sense for how wide the bases are? I've got a mantle and I don't want my Valks to fall off.

Does this mean that the DX Banking Adapter and Standing Adapter won't work with the Renewal VF-25 Valks? Also, what are the dimensions of the bases (length from side to side and point to point?).

I just bit the bullet and ordered a Renewal VF25-G and Tornado Parts. Thanks Uncle Sam. --G

Such happy news! Hopefully, my bank account will be able to replenish in time. Christmas saw a VF-25F and Armor Parts appear under the tree. And then I talked my wife into picking up Luca and his entourage. Sadly, that kills my disposable income for January. On a somewhat related note, has anyone asked you about doing an adapter for the Aoshima Tlead and Legioss? Sadly, I don't think it would be possible to do much more than a basic climbing flight pose. While I'd love the chance to show the figures in an aggressive bank, the way the figures connect probably wouldn't allow it.

Yeti, Any word on wave three? Will there be one? Any sense for when? I fell off the world for a few months and didn't see any of your threads. Now, just as I'm waiting for my DX VF-25, I see that someone has finally built the stand I've wanted forever. And the ordering is closed. I'd love to get in line for the next round. --G
