Eva coming to the US! Snippit from AICN: FUNimation Entertainment announced that it has acquired the home entertainment, broadcast, digital and merchandise rights to the film Evangelion: 1.0 You Are (Not) Alone from NTV. FUNimation Entertainment will release the film in 2009.

Graham did state that it was PT, so I would assume the canopy pushed down, and you have a two piece heatshield that will close over it. If you don't know what I'm talking about, go watch M+ again.

You know what I do with threads now-a-days? I click on the newest page, scroll scroll scroll scroll....no new pics? Exit. Too much bitching and back and forth jabs by too many collectors lately, and I am finding it rather sad.

I think I see how they're doing the heatshield. In the new pics, if you look at the very front of the canopy, you can kind of glimpse a bit of orange. My guess is that you push the whole cockpit piece down and maybe back a little, and then the heatshield slides out from inside the nose. Kinda like a reverse VF-1 method. I'm not going to judge anything about the fighter mode pic, simply because its already been stated that it looks "squished" in being scanned or something. The only thing I will say, as I've previously stated, is that the tailfins blow. The point of doing a v.2 of something is to IMPROVE on the previous design. And those fins look like they haven't even been touched or thought of. Oh well, I'm sure someone will make some new fins from styrene or something to cover those abominations just like we did with the v.1 from sooo long ago.

Chalk mine up to going into cold storage. I didnt do any screw loosening or the like. Came perfectly fine in the box. Just noticed after this last transformation that BOTH arms are jacked. The right bottom side of the shoulder sheared off (but is still attached via the top side). And the left side has a nice crack in it. I'll probably try to get replacement parts, but for the time being, I'm boxing it back up and leaving it that way. =/

Just buy TONS of the model kits. Problem solved, and it still supports Macross F in a big way and still shows we want a 2nd season.

Went to Green Hills today in the hopes of finding a kit at one of the shops there, but no luck. Didnt feel like leaving empty handed tho and picked up at Yammy 0A. Grr.

Possible. But I think she's there to pretty much ensure that no matter what, Skynet gets built/realized.

The new one is a T-1001. I have yet to read anything about what the difference is between it and the 1000, but my guess is that Skynet did some "tweaking" to feel more comfy with it, especially if it was scared of the 1000 model. And of course she knows what she is. If she didn't, she wouldn't shifted into a urinal, or needle fingered that guy. Nor would she have shifted into the political figure that gave the speech at the Nuke plant. I feel that the humans (in the future) were manipulated into thinking the Nuke plant was something important, thus John sending back the messenger to warn them. So now that they were successfully manipulated, the power plants are now going to be "autonomically controlled to ensure there are no human errors". Skynet wins. Just my observance. The show is great IMO. Sure there's some writing issues where the REAL Sarah Connor wouldn't do half the stupid crap that she's done in the show, but damn if it doesn't make a good show. And I do agree about the Season 2 Heroes comment. I was less than thrilled with that show, and if I had been less stupid and actually watched SCC at the time, I would have been a lot more happy with TV. Fox BETTER NOT cancel this show. I would personally go down there and kick them in their collective brain cases if they did. Terminate their asses.

I am all over this when I get my hands on it. Those are some seriously good looking kits, as well as a near flawless execution. Bandai's "toy" team needs to take a cue from the model dept.

Ok folks, I've already expressed my dissatisfaction over this toy, but I still want Macross F to do good and possibly come back for a 2nd season. So lets break out our wallets, and support Macross F in a different way. Buy the models and anything else you can get your hands on!

Sorry, I'm passing till bandai's license runs out and Yamato starts producing them. I really dont care if its 10 years from now. That thing looks like a$$. And hell if I'm shelling out over 100 bucks for that "thing".

Just get the Hikky 1S thats coming soon. But on the shoulder topic, I (knocking on wood) have yet to have any probs with the shoulders. I don't transform it all the time, but then again, when I do I am really careful. I have noticed the 1S being a lot tighter than the 1A though. Anywho, I am really getting itchy to get another couple of 1A's and customizing them. The more I think about it, the more I want to do it. The only thing thats really holding me back besides the money, is how to do the heat shield. Its not like the 1/48 where its molded in clear plastic with the skull on one side and the colored paint on the other. Then there's the matter of the tampo printed numbers. This is a perfect opportunity for Yamato to release a "build it yourself" kit, since the heads can be switched out. They could do it like Stikfa's and release multiple colored molds, like light grey, dark grey, black, white. Normal colors, not neon. Man that would be a fun kit to have.

And you sir just proved the point that a MWer is NEVER happy. I have zero complaints with the current lineup. Bring it.
