  1. Its not exactly Low-Vis with all that nice YELLOW. Pass.
  2. You'd think with them upgrading everything to 1/48, they'd find a better way to attach the gunpod. I remember that dinky tab that its using now being not so sturdy in the 1/72 model. Hopefully they remedy this.
  3. That'll look amazing when finished. Maybe while you're at it when tearing everything apart, you could tool up some bigger tailfins.
  4. All I can say is this: Have patience. I know you're eager to get your stuff, but come on, its only been there since the 9th. I'm sure there's a ton of reasons as to why its still there. More than likely there's a backlog. Sit back, relax and enjoy the wait. Seriously.
  5. My Roy replacement parts just shipped. Can't wait to get him out of the box again.
  6. He's already mentioned it to them. We'll see if they change it or not.
  7. I'm in the entertainment biz. I'm actually seriously thinking about selling everything that I've accumulated so far since my fire for collecting has burnt out. I'm really wanting to get a new camera and do a hobby thats more productive and worthwhile. Just looking at it from where I sit, there's a 1 SV-51 Ivanoff, a VF-0A, YF-19, YF-21, 1/48 Max and Millia, 1/48 VF-1S Roy, and 1/48 VF-1J Stealth w/out FP. I also have 2x 1/60 v2. VF-1's, but I think I'll keep those for now. But yeah, economy is hitting hard and the desire to collect is dwindling rapidly. At least for me.
  8. yeah I have that problem too with the cover not wanting to stay closed. Its kinda annoying.
  9. The Night Raven looks too much like the old Firefox design. Meh. Bring back the old NR!!!!!!
  10. Ok, someone did a mockup a long time ago of a Millia TV VF-1A, done up like Max and Kakizaki's TV type 1A's. It was also discussed between CYS and I that it might have shown up during the video game battle between Max and Millia, but don't have proof. Can anyone confirm it? Because I think that would make a really cool scheme that I'd like to see in the 1/60 line. White main body, with red arms and legs.
  11. oooh. I'm thinkin i may have to start ordering from Overdrive then. Sweet!
  12. I'm not sure a pic would help, as it would just appear to look normal. Video maybe, which if I can get around to actually making one, I'll upload it to youtube or something. Otherwise, the nailpolish is a good way to "tighten" things up per se?
  13. Thanks for the insight. I've had my fair share of just about all Yamato has to offer. Including a ton of 1/48's. I am positive that I'm plugging it in all the way. The Max 1J that I just recently bought actually has a slightly hard time getting the pins etc. into the back packs. My Millia, they just slide right in. So my guess is either the internals were put together incorrectly, or maybe the die cast pins/bars whatever you wanna call them, dont have enough die cast. Basically it just seems like there's too much room, and therefore dont attach snug like all my other 1/48 valks.
  14. Yeah, its the very front piece of the intakes. All my other 1/48s don't have this problem. This one just seems overly loose all around. Not VF-0A loose, but close. I just got my Max 1J in lastweek and he seems perfectly fine. Ah well. I'll go grab some clear nail polish and give that a shot and see if it tightens anything up. I'm more concerned about the boosters than the intakes at this point. Thanks.
  15. DAMN!! You beat me to it!!
  16. Stealth was a 1J type. 25th Anniv. was a 1S type. Both are black, so I could see where you'd get it mixed up.
  17. And there we have it folks!!!! The completion of the DYRL? Skull Squad!!! Not too many stock schemes left to do as far as DYRL and TV are concerned. What are we missing that hasn't been announced yet? Cannon Fodders for both DYRL and TV. Max and Millia TV 1J's Kakizaki TV 1A Angel Birds Virgin Road 1D Elint Ostrich GBP armor From that point, its pretty much the obscure background valks. But I am deffinately hoping to see a Low Viz grey schemes as I want to do some customizing. Hopefully any scheme other than the ones above will come with swappable heads and Strike/Super parts. Hopefully I won't be imagining this, and it will come to reality.
  18. Ah, seems Yamato is "MAX"ing out their options! :P Couldn't resist.
  19. OK, I did a search and I even skimmed through this topic and couldnt come up with anything on my small issue. I'm sure its been discussed before, but just want to get some pointers and/or clarification. I have a 1/48 Millia where the Boosters are loose when plugged into the backpack. Is it just a simple coating of clear nail polish to solve this? Also, the intakes when in fighter mode very loosely plug in. So much so that I can pick it up at times and they can easily seperate from the underside of the chest plate. Not completely loose, but its noticeable. Same solution as the backpacks? Thanks for any info.
  20. As long as early 90s neon and MC Hammer pants dont come back, its fine. But I LOVE the fact they're doing the TV stuff now. AWESOME!
  21. I've been back in the states now for well over a month, but when I was in the PI, I never saw a VF-0 at Great Toys. I had to trek my way through to some of the shops deep in the belly of the Green Hills beast in order to find my -0A. Good luck on the hunt though.
  22. Graham recently had a chat with Yamato. No news on the VF-11? Or was it all just 1/60 VF-1 v2 news?
