I love the design of the 0's and I love my 0a, but there's good reason I keep it boxed up. It's a floppy mess!!! I'd save your money for whenever they release an exorbitantly priced, highly detailed and fixed 0. I have faith in Arcadia's work, just not the prices.

My god!! WANT!!! This looks like TONS of fun to build and detail!!

VF-4 in 1/48. Go big.

The new Mustang is growing on me. While it looks kinda plane now, give it a year or two to see what kind of performance options are offered and what the body kits (stock and aftermarket) will shape up to be. I dig the engine options. A 300+ HP 4cyl turbo? Sweet! Speed and gas mileage, 'bout damn time. Not that it compares, but the CX-7 that I used to own had a turbo 4, and it kicked ass in that heavy ass thing, and was still managing about 30mpg. I miss that car. Anywho, I'm giving the Mustang a couple years before I'm truly impressed.

The "training wheels" mode you speak of was eliminated from the game, as well as helo's. Shows you just how popular it was in Assault Horizon. They went back to the way it used to be, according to an article I read, which I can't seem to dig up. This made me cheer, as I've yet to beat AH, and don't really plan on it.

New Warhammer 40k MMO announced. Projected end of 2015.
Fatalist replied to Gakken85's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
It was in THQ's hands, being developed by a third party (Relic or whomever). THQ went belly up, and all their game rights were sold off to other developers. I'm glad someone picked this up and is continuing on it. 40K is ripe for a proper undertaking, whether this company does a solid job or not.- 5 replies

World War FAIL. I've said this a million times, but to do this book justice, it needs to be done "Band of Brothers" style. Too many good stories and viewpoints to try and pass off in one movie. It's WWZ in name only, which saddens me greatly. I had high hopes for this till I read the set reports on AICN a while back. How hard is it for Hollywood to stick to the source material?!?!?!

The nose landing gear looks way too short, kind of reminds me of the V1 Bandai VF-25's. :/

Took my boys to the MCAS Miramar show today. Got some choice shots. Was totally surprised and thrilled they had the 2 F-22's there and doing flight demos. What an amazing piece of technology and machinery! To see the demo first hand was jaw dropping. Loved it! Super Hornet at the edge of the sound barrier

YES!!!!!!!!!!!!! /want

Totally agree. Always thought they were too "organic" looking. However, I do like how some of the pro modellers in Japan have been adapting the VF-11B style booster packs into the VF-19A designs. It'd be interesting to see the same applied to the S/F

Ever given any thought to designing upgrade parts for the 1/48 VF-1's to make them more like the 1/60's? I realize this might be a big project, but not as grand of a scale as your VF-0D (which is looking more and more amazing btw.). I've always disliked how floppy the 1/48's tended to be, but love most of the proportions. Just wish it was a bit more solid.

It's a bummer that it's not in the FB2012 scheme, but that's not going to stop me from getting one. It's a VF-4!! It could come in pink and I still wouldn't care. Just take my money Yamato!!! I'm soooo down for a group buy when/if one ever gets started.

Can someone just ask Bandai why they're being such a bunch of A
Fatalist replied to Lupin The Third's topic in Toys
$209 for JUST the armor?!?!?!? What the hell has this hobby come to? Honestly, it sucks what you all are going through. I really hope this scenario doesn't happen to the VF-4, because thats the holy grail right there, and I will be furious if I have to jump through similar hoops. At least Yamato likes us somewhat, right? /fingers crossed -
I dig this scheme a lot more than the Hikaru 1J that I keep seeing. Props to you! Have they shown any other schemes in Macross the First yet? Like Max, Roy, Millia.......anyone? Obviously I'm not keeping up on it.

If money wasn't such an issue for me right now, I'd buy 1 S-type and 3 F-types so that I could customize them into an "honorary" Skull Squadron. Someone HAS to get around to that!

Even if they don't, we all have PLENTY (or should) of Skull logo stickers to play with and customize this beautiful bird!

Received my new hinges today (pairs) and finally installed a set on my 1st edition Fokker. Perfect!!! I ended up ditching my gnurled pins and used/clipped down some thin nails, which I would assume were for nailing down hooks for framed art/pictures. Thanks Veef!!!!!!!

Nope, but looking at HLJ, looks like the next 1/48 release is the Angel Birds scheme. Not sure if anyone noticed or if it was previously announced. Only took a cursory glance at the thread here. http://www.hlj.com/product/HSG65798
