Theres that nice new Alaskan Arctic Camo theme too that was recently done on some F-16's that I think would look sweet.

I also remember, and correct me if I'm wrong (which on these boards people have no problem doing), but Graham posted a poll long long ago asking everyone how they preferred their Valks to look. I believe there were 3 options to choose from. Accuracy in all modes using detachable parts, As close as possible in all modes without detachable parts, or ??. I forget what the 3rd option was. But to make a long story short, I believe we are now recieving the fruits of that poll and our answers. Not everything is going to be perfect. And on designs like the 21, there's some sacrifices that need to be made to have it look awesome. Same thing happened on the 19 with the "neck". People complained non-stop about that, but when they recieved the toy, the complaints pretty much dwindled. Point is everyone can have their opinions, but in the end, we're all going to have a great toy. /Fin

I think they look great, and I too cannot wait for the VF-11 to show its mug. I would most deffinately do up a VX-9, and my rendition of a Skull Squad for sure.

I just did a search on F-14's for the VX-9 squadron on Airliners.net, and I am appalled at what they did with the "Vandy-1"!!!! The VERY last built F-14D that was sent to the VX-9 squad, the all black with bunny logo, has been stripped of paint and painted up in the CAG colors of the Pukin' Dog's!!!!! BLASPHEMY!!!!!!!!!!!!! There's 3 pics on there. 1 during the strip down I believe, and the other two of it all restored and in the new colors. HERE is the link

I wouldnt mind seeing a top down view of those VF-11's in the DYRL schemes to see how it plays out. Maybe battroid as well? It would be interesting. But thank you for saving this thread with some good schemes. I'm not a fan of the "fan created RPG" looking stuff. Especially when it looks like it was done in MS Paint.

The thing about the Beowulf tale is that there are so many interpretations and liberties taken. This is also the case with the movie. Gaiman and Avery took the original tale and just interpreted it and added their own liberties to it to possibly make it a little more interesting. As for me, I liked it. I have some minor gripes about it, but overall I really enjoyed it. And I cannot wait for the DVD release.
