I've seen that flight suit. It's amazing. But it's not the flight suit from the T.V. series (in fact, it's not from any series), so it wouldn't have the details I need. I could probably go either way and nobody would know/care, but I'd like to get the details right. Has anyone on here made an SDF:M flight suit?

Hello, this is my first time posting. I didn't know there was a Macross forum (just a bunch of...Robotech...forums), but I'm glad there is! I was starting to think Macross was all but forgotten. I'm currently making a cosplay of Flight Suit Hikaru (T.V.) and I've hit a wall. Does anyone know if there is supposed to be horizontal striping on the blue ribbon (on the sleeves)? I know there is striping (almost like ribbing) on the sides, but I can't tell if there is supposed to be striping on the ribbon on the sleeves. Thanks.
