    Early models of the F-4 Phantom have a SUU-16/A gun pod in a similar centerline mount, and I have not heard of F-4's with that pod shooting their noses.

    Macross is a Japanese work and as mentioned in a previous post same-sex relationships are common in Japanese media. You have to understand it within their cultural context. I suggest you consult a moderator on this issue, as so far the discussion here is mostly civil.

    The cones represent the area which the fragmentation warheads of the missiles will cause damage, and Guld flew straight through the missile swarm so that that the missiles detonate behind him. That was a tactic used by B-52 bomber pilots in the Vietnam war to avoid getting hit by missiles fired at them.

    The VF-171 has such a cockpit to an extent, and I don't think it would be a restricted technology in the first place.

    Now for something different, the carbine used by Messer and Mirage in episodes 7 and 8 of Delta: It is a pretty rough sketch as it is poorly drawn in the show, lacking in detail. I added some details of my own, such an AR15-style selector, magazine and bolt release, linear compensator, QD sling mount and a top Picatinny rail and M-Lok slots for Picatinny rail-compatible optics and M-Lok compatible accessories respectively.

    If they are another singer (which I think is most likely), it is a case of just using the same name. An example is Nova Mob, which could refer to a 1990's American band or a 2000's Filipino rapper group (which is actually short for Novaliches Mob).

    So, you are referring to the Keith-version head? How about the normal cone-head version?

    Yes but still it makes a nice, easy to maintain export design for countries such as Thailand, Brazil, Philippines, and others who want to replace F-5's or early block F-16's with a more modern fighter.

    That was already done in M7, though they were breaking out from captivity after the botched strike operation.
