The HMR VF-4 is such a great little piece of engineering. Taking the Yamato, scaling it down and improving it, fantastic. I really hope we see an HMR VF-17.

What kind of joint problems? Loose and floppy? Breakage? Whhatsthe scale of these? They look large.

What have we had, 2 HMR Macross releases this year? The VF-4 and 1D? That and the Korchima Soltic are the only ones I have tabbed for 2019.

I had higher expectations for this one, and the fight scenes were pretty good, but the acting was just SO bad. Bad choice for a lead (although I really liked him in Hulu's Catch-22 series). The Lannister "chaos for chaos sake" nonsense was not believable, even for my switched off brain. I don't understand why the stupid Orca machine didn't have a headset and simply acted as a translator for its user. Oh no, you pinch and swipe and its simple to control...wtf? The girl was more believable than either of the actors who played her parents. I expected Pacific Rim 2 to be terrible and was pleasantly surprised. IMO that was a better movie than KotM. I like the Bayformers TFs just like I like watching Jurassic dinos, they're cool and well done...so those movies were fun for me (except the Last Knight). This is a movie that could have been so much better. All it would have taken would have been LESS humans. I liked Shin Godzilla better in many ways (no kids, failure of bureaucracy, etc). Its amazing that Marvel has shown us how you can make a serious movie aimed at kids that doesn't HAVE kids or families or anything. I think it would have been better if 11 used her powers on the monsters.

Got one off NY for the markup. Tried last night and Amiami was crashing. HLJ didn't put it up in the the I tried. CD Japan posted it and it was gone. This time it disappeared in mere seconds I think. I agree that these should be MSRP 25000 yen, Maybe 23000 at preorder.

The acting was shallow and terrible. Didn't care about stupid family, wished they'd all die. Was embarrassed by the "tech" of Monarch, so stupid. The monster fight scenes were good, but the overall scale was lacking, it didn't FEEL huge to me. And when Ghidorah's heads were coming at the screen it felt like a bad 3D ride. They may as well have made the bad guys Cobra and the good guys GIJoe.

Yeah, the missiles on the bottom of the fighter sucked. The question i had after that was 'do i have to do this 15 more times?' There seem to be 16 Cosmo tiger 2s in the finished product. I'm a bit disappointed that there doesn't seem to be an internal scaffolding/frame for the ship. The body panels each connect to the panel before it. Glad to see the first shock cannon battery on the deck after set 17. I do wish they would have made the torpedo tube covers moveable as a single piece (instead of eventually removable) .

Received and built set 16, I do love this thing. But, with the kit 15% built, I'm wondering how they can get this thing built in only 110 issues. It feels more like its 5% built. Interestingly, the subscription-exclusive fighters (which IMO was a dumb idea), there's 3 sets on Yahoo jp auctions, 1 for 9000 yen and 2 for for MORE than that. Got the Pegasus, so I have about half of them now (none of TOS ships). The Pegasus is about on scale with the DX Hasbro Titanium Galactica. IMO the reimagine Galactica is nicer than Pegasus, but both cool. -
@tekeringDid you build the Moscato Inbit yourself? What line are those Patlabors? MG?

I don't think Disney has rights to the Ghibli collection anymore. The Blu Rays are now made by someone else (and not available on Disney Movie Club). That said, this looks really good, some straight up passion went into it. I love the on location filming they did and real models rather than relying purely on CG. Massive kudos.

Initially I was wondering if I didn't have the legs as far up as they can go, but nope, I think the tab and leg hole are like a cm apart. Dunno how they let that one slide. The tab/leg hole didn't work very well in the first place,. The really bad thing is that with around 10 small changes these could have been great toys. I think I'm going to sell off my ET VF-2SS, its just too disappointing. They should quit making transformable toys.

Got the ET shadow legioss, definitely the worst of the bunch. An attempt to milk the mold to death. The new arms are too short for the fighter mode leg tab holes (out of the box). The CMS dark legioss (both) are way better than this guy. I'll leave it in soldier or diver eventually.

I gotta say the lack of scale consistency with the Eaglemoss Galactica fighters is annoying. Mainly just that the mk II is too big compared to the other 2 I have (modern Cylon raider and mk VII viper). I'm guessing TOS viper is too big also. I'm sure TOS raider will be too small, but its really a big craft. Also the Galacticas and Pegasus would have been nice to keep in scale. They're very nice regardless.

Yeah, blue guy is L-Gaim Batshu, so another HMR series started without finishing others. My biggest hope is that they keep making Dougram and Macross to completion. I don't think we have an HMR announced after the Korchima Soltic (and Batshu there...).

Preordered while wincing. More like $325 USD after shipping I imagine. For this price it NEEDS to be PF.
