  1. I notice you've got the robot spirits vf-25 and QRAU. Are those 1/100 scale? wish I could preorder the 1/100 vf-1 GBP-1 as a nice size comparison.

Yeah, I was looking at internet records and trying to find additional information. What's funny is that they're now out of stock ...

Not sure how legit these guys are ... never heard of them http://www.bandaionline.com/bandai-hi-metal-r-vf-1j-armored-valkyrie/?
  4. Oh man, was boxing up my v2's and the arm hinge on my 1D broke mid transformation. Is this still available? is Arcadia issuing hinges like Yamato did? Has any one else designed similar hinges with pins in them?
  5. Did the release get pushed back? I could have sworn that it was a late June release, and now NY is showing late August.
  6. Same here ... the "preorder" button is still available too as I speak
  7. Oh yeah, these things were just terrible. Holes for the arm and leg pegs would break. Plastic was too brittle, I had one of the heads break off from just rotating it left/right. They're definitely not worth $30 even with fast packs....maybe $15. (I'd call them Dollar Store transformers) However, even with teh crappiness, they did make some nice little custom jobs; that and they display well at the office if you don't want someone taking a $100+ toy.
  8. I've got the standalone... 1 busted shoulder and the other starting to show stress. Not as bad as fastpack roy VF-1S, though.
  9. I'd post some pics too, but no camera handy. Have a Strike Roy VF-1S and VF-1J Hikaru that both have cracked shoulders. Both of Roy's are broken and Hikaru has 1 broken and the other with stress marks about to break. Sadly these have never been transformed since I received them and left in fighter mode. Did the same thing as BlueMax, only moved the legs to see the shoulders and BLAMO!... (will post pictures later)
  10. And I just got mine yesterday. Not sure how long I've been waiting on it, but I ordered two other VF-1's with it. Only problem I've had is that the antenna arm armor was put together backwards. Luckily there's a screw underneath to reverse the arm clips. Nothing like having a VE-1 with antenna poking out its rear.
  11. Hmmm... I want to get these, but $50 is too much. I think the Toynami 1/100's with Fast Packs at least go for $30. Do we know if/when they may release ones with super/strike packs?
  12. Well if you look at Toynami's current 1/100 line... the VF-1 along with Super/Strike armor is close to $40. Granted, if you preorder them as a set then it's closer to $30 per VF-1. Hmmm... I wonder if Bandi will just be reusing Toynami's molds or introducing a new 1/100 VF-1, since there was a rumor about the two of them in cahoots for US distro. I for one welcome the 1/100 line...just think of how many cheap customs you can make. (Which reminds me, I need to update the Customs thread with updated pics of the three I made.)
  13. Meh...so they made the canopy look more like the VT-1's canopy instead of the 1D. While a correct canopy would be nice, I'll still get the 1D since I don't have an extra 1/48 to buy a conversion kit and I never bought the v.1 Here's a picture of the original v.1 1/60 VF-1D I grabbed from vf-1d review (japanese) It even appears to be off from the line art. Side by side comparison:
  14. ZOMG !!!!!!!!!!!!! I was just looking at "Graham review the new 1/60 thread" and it's got new pictures of the 1/60 v.2 VF-1J. Looks like it comes with round hands ala. GBP-1
  15. I was going to say the nosecone doesn't go beyond the knees like the 1/48, plus the elbow looks double jointed. The hands don't look like "chicken hands" either.
  16. Got mine today, but haven't transformed it yet. The thing is a beauty with the Strike Armor, much better than the v.1 1/60 Strike I've got sitting next to it on display. I'll vote after I've transformed...so far things look good.
  17. I just got my today too...woot!
