NY is a like an authentic crack dealer then. Takes your money, lies about it, and leaves the junkies in withdrawal, irritated, and angry.

It does say on the manual the notches that attach to the joints of the hips are fragile.

They do have a policy though for delayed goods/services or pre-orders that has to be delivered within a certain timeframe or else the seller cannot accept payment if they cannot meet the requirement. I've read some have successfully gotten their money back even past the 6 months. You just have to point that out do it ASAP.

Damn. Even @sqiddhas limits. Lol! For me, it's the lack of dynamic articulation that puts it back. At that scale, I'm sure Bandai could have figured out to have all those details and still have Metal Build articulation. It feels like they were aiming for the top of the line but fell short.

That sucks that NY wasn't forthcoming initially with this. I can't say this is Bandai's fault like the 31A situation. Demand just exceeded supply just like any initial round TWE PO and NY should have anticipated this, have been ready to place the TWE orders when it went live but didn't. They never placed orders for the December release is the likely scenario unless somebody here is able to show otherwise. The question is will you guys just wait it out or try to get your money back?

Geralt did say he had no interest on the child on the night he opted for the Law of Surprise. If anything, the only reason he came back was to assure Ciri's safety from Nilfgaard and probably Renfri's nagging prophecy.

See if that's the case, why do they assume that Geralt wanted the child (or in this case, Ciri) as the reward? It could be anything by what you describe it but it seems to default on the saved person's offspring.

I think a few here got their orders in via proxy. From what I have read here, at least AE offered a refund while NY on the other hand, hasn't offered any options.

I think it is. Going to your Chevy and Porsche analogy, it's like Chevy released a car years ago with certain features that aren't necessary with driving a car but nice to have (lane departure warning, parking cameras, etc.) Years later, Porsche comes out with a car without those features that seem standard now. Sure material and buildwise, Porsche is levels above a Chevy but wouldn't you expect at least those features to be available especially for the premium one has to pay for? Same with Bandai. They took cues from the Yamato's design with no significant improvement, sold at a higher price, yet left out some of the nicer details that collectors have gotten used to.

With how big the box is and the weight, it definitely won't be if shipped from Japan. Around $1200 for the figure + $300 for one set of funnels. It adds up especially if you want double set of funnels.

Hot Toys. I do think they do produce slightly more than the order received but it's more of a buffer to compensate for any returns due to defects.

Where was it delivered? Those devices have a GPS that timestamps the location on where it was signed/scanned/delivered.

Yeah but Bandai has a lot of other products that are selling really well. Why even bother especially with Macross which has a smaller audience, as others have mentioned? Besides, they already have the TWE which function the same in a way. They do an initial run, if it sells really well (sold out within minutes), they immediately schedule another run for a different release date. If the 2nd run does really well again, a 3rd run is done. It has happened before.

I think it's just a hassle to refund numerous payments when the goal isn't met. You still end up paying for the cost of operation or setting up the campaign.

Because Delta sucks. Lol! As much as the valks in the series are nice, the focus has been selling their J-pop merchandise. I bet the 2nd movie will be 60% Walkure, 39% valks, 1% plot.

Sometimes though it will say tax excluded depending on the seller. So that amount will get added during checkout or on charge 2.
