    If anyone else figures out a fix for the wing droop issue, I'd be interested to hear about it. My YF-30 has the same issue. One wing is fine, the other wing feels like it sticks on something and won't seat right when it's out straight.

    My original YF-19 pre-order was on 4 Oct. The black friday sale re-pre-order was on 1 Dec. If the VF-0D is following the same schedule, then the pre-orders would likely get posted in Oct.

    Yeah, if I remember correctly I had my YF-19 pre-ordered at HLJ when it got posted, then I cancelled and re-pre-ordered during the Black Friday sale.

    I've been messing around with customizing these figures a bit. Put together a dirt bike with suitable weathering and just finished painting up a new head for one of the Sol Commander's. I'll probably replace his body armor and add additional web gear sometime in the near future.

    You can also use the Arcadia 30th kit as a hangar queen. It includes some black shoulder hinges, which go well with anything. I used a pair in my super ostrich and it looks pretty sharp. I expect the price to keep dropping on that visual abomination as time passes, so keep an eye out.

    You can get the CF vf-171 weapon sets on mandarake pretty easily. I got one with a damaged box for fairly cheap. Keep an eye out.

    After many screwed up USPS deliveries, I finally got to lay hands on my YF-30. Holy cow, this thing looks so much better in person. The photos can't even start to capture how detailed it is. I'm not normally into Frontier, but I'm really, really impressed.

    I posted about some $90 Renewal VF-25S super parts on BBTS not too long ago. I know people want the armor more than the super parts, but hey, what are you gonna do?

    I'm trying to recall everything in my old OH-58 cockpit, but it's been almost 14 years. Most of the stuff on the left side of the cockpit of the 58 was all radio equipment. Is there a fuel dump switch you need to add?

    Not to dwell on mospeada, but what's to say that 3rd party designs would be that much better than cm's offerings? I'm a big fan of the series, so something is always better than nothing, but yeah, I'd love to have something in the same realm of quality as the vf-1 2.0.

    Even if the perfect transformation fighters are potentially unfeasible for a 3rd party manufacturer, I would hope that, as others have said, it would at least be an opportunity to fill other gaps in the collection -- Britai figure? Battle Pod? Zentradi Battle Suit from Macross Plus? DESTROID SPARTAN?! The opportunities are there and I hope that something interesting happens as we watch this unfold.

    I wasn't sure about this one, if only because I don't collect SD figures...but DAMN, those color photos totally won me over. Pre-ordered!

    Ahh, I can see the consistency of the Bandai valks stemming from the fact that Frontier Valks were designed using CGI techniques, rather than the illustrated anime magic used for the rest of the series.

    Oh yeah, a while back I was split between getting that set and the Perfect Effect Scouting Force. I went with the Scouting Force because the colors were closer to the cartoon.
