You may want to do it now--the order deadline is Aug 4 for the super parts.

The only thing speculative is vf-27 now. While vf-25f was highly sought after, many people had it before the re-release. vf-27 super is the only popular character that has the first renewal release this year. Hopefully bandai will produce more vf-27 than rvf-25. but the high price of 20000 may deter some people from buying multiples. We will see.

Problem is, NY's order system is seriously flawed in that you cannot know when your item is going to be released. You may remember when you ordered it, but after a few months it may not be so clear in your mind. And guess what? (1) Your order page does not tell you when the item is going to be released. (2) Nor can you click on the item in your order to go to the item page that has the release info. (3) And their search function sucks. Every time I want to check when something is going to be released, I have to google. All I'm saying is that the reminder email is really necessary to make this process work.

They still routinely send out reminder emails for everything, though. It's less about how to pay, and more about what is going on. Could be that someone forgot to send reminders, but also could be they don't have enough stock...

No, they didn't list it. Which is also why I think these are accidentally released.

No, I'm saying the ENTIRE bandai october list has no discount. That's simply impossible - there are quite a few unpopular items on that list.

Funny. I seemed to have gotten one from AE, but I did not receive a "Thank you for your Order N. ?????" email. I tried again with ordering something else, and I instantly got an "thank you" email. This is weird.

HLJ really need to get their listing up more quickly. On the other hand, their pricing probably can't be lowered--they are essentially charging more for the extra service that they provide, such as free return shipping, etc. Selling something already in PW is pretty bad though. My problem with HLJ is that they don't do registered small packet SAL.

Yeah. 1008 is particularly horrible. not rubbing off, just parts turn different shades of yellow. But metal build freedom prism is fine, it seems.

I have no doubt that amiami, as a large business, have its share of customer reps who are rude. But you need to consider two things: 1. They don't speak good English. They speak English, but not good. The "rudeness" you perceive may simply be the fact that they cannot communicate well with English. 2. People have different standards for rudeness - I, for one, am fine if the conversation is conducted in a fact-based manner. I do feel a difference between "no" and "sorry, can't be done," but I personally don't base my purchase decision on such differences.

Seriously, no need to worry about VF-25A. The scalpers know, through VF-171, that cannon fodder units don't sell, so they won't preorder to screw the market. Many people on this board also said they are not interested in mooks like this. This is probably the easiest to get.
