I didn't order the super parts because I think it looks better without. I hope I don't regret this decision.

I think I spent that much too last month. I agree about the VT-1. It was always in fighter mode and went into full gerwalk sometimes I feel it is more appropriate displayed in fighter mode.

I got my 2nd one from NY today. Thanks to Loop for showing me I need more than just 1 lol. I love the look of the fighter and I preordered 2 armor sets as well making a very tough looking squadron.

I have to agree! This is a great toy with great transformation. The cockpit with the cover can be finicky but other than that I like mine a lot and enjoy the transformation. Take that puppy out and fly it around your room sometime.

I love the VF-1's from Yamato and I want to support Arcadia in their 1st Valkyrie offering..... But that Valkyrie is hideous! I might buy it to show my support but I don't know if I can display it. Better yet stick it in GBP Armor!

We've all discussed Arcadia and 1/60's... How about the 1/48s?

I like the 1/60 V2's and I love them but my point is that just because they are better doesnt make the 1/48 ugly. Its like people who have the latest Corvette calling the previous generation ugly. The 1/48's do have their flaws which I do agree with but to stick them in the same category as the Toynami 1/55's (these things had major problems and did not look accurate at all) isnt right. I still consider the 1/48's classic pieces and still look great flaws and all and will have a good place in Macross toy history. 8 out of 10 lady Valkyries prefer 1/48 noses to 1/55 or 1/60.

Now that I think about it it's just the tight canopy that is shared. My VF-17D has loose ankles right out of the box but both my VF-171's ankles are good. For me the hips on both are weird with the transformation but not really a problem.

The 1/48 is a very good looking Valkyrie. I can't understand why people think it looks like crap. It's fighter mode is great. It has a lot of gimmicks and battroid mode is imposing. The 1/60 is the next step in evolution of design, but I wouldn't say it makes the 1/48 ugly. For those of us collecting it was the best thing in the early 2000's. before that there was bandai toynami and v1 1/60's. -

Please I don't want to know. I spent enough to buy a used crappy car in cash this year on Valkyries. Lol My wife has been understanding as well and very supportive. I have had a few girlfriends In the past who would get angry with me for buying toys. My wife and kid like my Valkyries.

Mine was super tight on my VF-17D. It's the same design as the VF-171.
