  1. wow i totally forgot that the arm armor was in the old 1/55...i so wish i had taken care of it better.... and nothing will ever match the iconic box of the 1/55 VT-1...
  2. Various shops around the net...like below...Am not that familiar as i don't usually buy third party... Friend of mine doing gunpla mentioned abt LED's not listed in the product pages. But from the unboxing LED and motor seems to be included. So will have to see along the way or release day if the LED's and motors for bazooka included. Hopefully bandai doesnt get a whiff of this and shut it down before that.
  3. Make sure you paid it. Otherwise its not done.
  4. I CANT BELIEVE THIS. INSANE. CRAZY!! FANBOI MOMENT!!!! ðŸĪŠ MADNESS!!
  5. Still on the fence whether to skip this or not. Within few months...DX BUYS on the YF-19, 2 yf-21's, snagged a VF-1 mechanic edition on mandarake and now this.... GAH!! This VT-1 would make it 4 or 5(?) DX buys in january alone!
  6. savings in june but no savings in jan? 😂😂 I guess savings would be if the pre-order madness was too intense and got cart jacked! 😂
  7. wow another DX PO within the same month is a surprise indeed! yf-21 DX release in June, and then the VT-1 DX in July!! wallet
  8. Looking from the side, the stand definitely fills the huge gap in-between the back wings pack and torso. The top of the stand is acting as the fulcrum... Mmmm....a brace to stiffen the shoulders would definitely be welcomed to not have the back wing pack sag..and also not to have to rely on the stand too much..
  9. Well we are speculating based on pics but who knows how bad err good it might turn out to be ðŸĪŠ Worse case, just admire the tampo from king of tampo, bandai..ðŸĪŠ seriously where are you gonna get a Macross valk like Bandai’sâ€Ķeven if the pirates could pirate the molds, I think they would have a hard time replicating the tampo(not impossible but cost wise at a quantity and quality?), me thinks ðŸĪ P.s. whether you like the tampo is another matterðŸĪŠ hey it’s art!😁
  10. Hard to believe, call it product photography magic 😗 A supporting bracket just like what the chronos had for stability would be nice, but it’s not mentioned in the parts list for the 21. Maybe need to relook at the product demo video again, which was shown last year, was battroid standing on its own?
  11. Ah yes, but the proof would be in the pudding...when it comes out..because that nice lean in the fuselage, angled chest intakes/back wings are helped by the stand in both mag and early prototype pics.. can the lean be adjusted without the stand i wonder...
  12. Just watched cucuruz island. Late am sure. But boy i enjoyed it..and the ED another classic gundam song imo... Sometimes you just have to sit back, admire the animation, feel the tropes/storyline and take it as it is....lovely... p.s. and what an entry of the gundam by the top of the volcano..
  13. From the prototype pics late last year, it would seem the torso can be more vertical eliminating lessening the crotch thrust. However, notice that the backpack sits higher up on back and at an angle. Might mean that the backpack underside is too thick, pushing the torso and/or crotch forward. Maybe a forward lean would resolve to a better vertical torso appearance, which results in the backpack resting at an angle like the HG..... and lastly a comparison with the OG prototype before they had to adjust the model.. i think the chest intakes would need to be positioned to angle downwards, somehow, to move the backpack away from the torso.
  14. A fully tampo-ed 1/60 scale DX of a yf-21 by Bandai. Whatever the tolerances bla bla..still hard to believe. The first ever yf-21 DX by Bandai, since Macross plus came out in the 90s. i read somewhere along the lines, 2024 looking back to 1995 (when plus was out), is like in 1982/3 (when Macross aired), looking back to things in 1954â€Ķ Hit me kinda hard when I thought abt it..
  15. everytime a 19P listing pops up, i kick myself for passing out on a 19P listing on jungle, way back then for approx 20k ++ yen.... goes to show, sometimes you just got to follow your gut instinct... i knew the 19P listings were running out but still...well was not too into M7 but i dug the 19P design...
  16. April release is likely to be for the post TN event sales held in JP last November. If there was a general release there would be a PO day, which hasn't happened.
  17. https://toyarena.com/collections/featured-preorders/products/bandai-dx-chogokin-macross-plus-yf-21-guld-goa-bowman-use-action-figure another shop..no experience with it..
  18. out on the shelfs in JP..
  19. If i remember correctly even the original 171EX had PO slots here and there you could order for a while...the re-issue reflects that somewhat... The 171 which i would want is a re-issued 171 CF in matt, minus any issues in triangles...😉 The one thing bandai could and should have re-issued and fix, they didnt... or..never say never...😉
  20. woah tomica! what scale are these...
  21. i suppose WWM stores would be good as a backup buy. Of course the more expensive ones can act as a main buy, since less risk of not fulfilling orders due to higher prices... Am thinking if i shld go for a third with kappa...as usual my wallet says no, and planning to wait for a vf-22 DX instead..
  22. am not the only one who remembered the mismatched shoulder graphics from the old days! thanks for the photo... that art was so iconic to me back then (esp with that broken circle), that and the red incom's esp on the knees and forehead.....coolness all over ...the EX-S was so cool that they couldnt care less if the shoulder graphics line up... and then came the booster for legs type and that really blew me away...
