Itchy F5 finger eh? Awaiting the GBP!! Look at October timelines for new reveals.. It should be p-bandai too since its an add on part... Although with the TV supers, i wouldnt mind a DX 1A CF as a filler release! Or also where is TV kakizaki bandai!

If BW challenges, would it be under an international tribunal, or would it need to be in China? It makes me think that the latter would be what someone is thinking, should there be a defense to this. (due to lack of enforcement of IP in china) Yes, interesting indeed to see how this plays out. haha nice play on references.

its a thin line, maybe as long as its ....1. not a valkyrie and 2. not something the M0 licensors would ever release, (since a non transformable F14 may not be exactly sellable...) its ok for cal wings to go M0? The VF-0B scheme isnt in the anime as well, and is just an illustration for hasegawa if i recall.

Wonder what the percentages are of folks are getting multiples "just in case their other vendors cant deliver" If bandai implements pay up front to their regular DX orders via ami/hlj...etc....and also on top of the allocated 1/2 per customer....would there be more to go around across the board to each customer? but in the end, it boils down to whether bandai gives a damm..no skin off their back am sure.

It will get worse if indeed there is a hikkie vf-1s release, and it becomes a dreaded lottery thingy. I felt bandai should have included the supers with each valk right from the start. Better a slightly more expensive DX than confusing the heck out of everyone.. like sh9000 mentioned, perhaps the supers can be used for a 1D or CF too? But this means another set of guesswork if there would be a 1D or CF...urrrghhhh.....

Oh yes, i certainly agree bandai isnt going out of biz. Definitely not because of macross. Branding includes the impression of quality/price/exclusivity or joy in your mind when you receive the product. Its this branding i mean, that gets wasted/dies when the consumer doesnt get to receive the product as smoothly as possible. Just like when one gets rude customer service during buying their favourite branded item. It will cloud your experience of the brand, when they use it after, even tho one might have a very good impression of the brand. None taken, we are all fans here! My view is from bandai's branding effort in driving us to buy it. Yes i agree there are lots of motivations amongst collectors! Like some just go for MISB collections! Not me tho! I like to swoosh em! p.s. btw its canon not "cannon", unless of course you mean ....cannons! Ok shall zip it....am not a grammer prof.... apologies

i think scarcity on its own doesnt fuel desire as much as quality/price/branding does.. although for one of its kind releases, like the yf-30 or vf-31A, scarcity in that "product/mold/shape" certainly fuels desire Point isnt abt westerners or japan, but rather scalpers becoming a barrier to get the product out to consumers. We havent got to the point where the scalpers have totally cornered the macross DX market (and i need to emphasize Macross DX chogokin as HMR's dont face scalping madness), but in the event they do, it might really pose a problem for bandai's Macross DX chogokin brand.

Its fine, am not pressured to get it. I dont want my funds to be tied up with an unfamiliar source for so long.

If the consumer can’t experience the product, they will be accustomed to forget abt it. Or live without it so to speak. Almost pulled the trigger but unfamiliarity with the site held me back.

Make it too difficult for products to get into consumers hands, and the brand dies at the hands of scalpers.

I seriously wish bandai would put in a 2 day pre-order window at least, for Macross DX chogokins. Put in limit 1 or 2 per order and pay upfront to further deter scalpers if needed. *grumble grumble*
