Spot On! The invader, I forgot abt that valk. Now thinking abt it, cant imagine any pilot in there dealing with any rapid head turns during any battroid fights. -

Wow I need several rereads ur initial tots on this. But off hand... I would tend to agree with kurasama’s take that the battroid head (monitor turret?) would be up front rather than on rear.. If so would signal a pilotless/AI drone, and be the first valk with head in the cockpit itself? or an even more radical idea is a pilot in the head temple, which doesn’t make any sense from a pilot safety perspective.

Bandai’s tampo is the selling point for the GBP, I won’t expect anything more. That opens up a chance for third party after effect parts tho. Like missiles with smoke trails..

True, but I don’t thk that would be a big crowd. How would one display the leftover grey goggle VF-1? A grey goggle battroid looks weird just wearing a leather helmet...ahem..haha..let’s not go there ..

I dont recall bandai ever releasing 2 macross releases in the same month ever before, either. You have a valid point for a non bundled. Haha the 1J special stand will have to be the wings for a batcrap crazy used VF-1J market.

Excellent work folks! After Noel brightened the image and kurisama outlined what looks to be the head around the cockpit area, this valk certainly looks like to be in the drone category. This might be the first valk whereby the cockpit itself forms the valk head. whether or not it is AI or remote piloted bears to be seen. 1. certainly raises an AI angle as well for the second delta movie? 2. Agree with Noel that it looks too organic to be a hero valk, might be an AI antagonist ala Sharon Apple.. 3. If so, lady M is minnay in digital form gone haywire??! Haha over speculation territory here... -
Bandai “should” be selling a seperate bundle set for the gbp, like the strike and supers. Hence a replacement head is the best solution. The GBP set might cost as much as a regular DX vf-1, any bundling would be equivalent to price of 2 DX. Add scalper prices to that and... unless of course bandai is using a bundle to push the price envelope.

Am sure folks would post news abt new releases as in the past... They might also do the translucent cover thingy during the daytime...maybe that would lead to some guesses as well...
