Would be pleasantly surprised if bandai did a December PO for the 0s. I am thinking likely February PO, if a late 2nd quarter 2022 slot is viable. Else April/May for a 3rd quarter 2022 release. One eye open.

Untabbed as usual. Wing sweep pockets on the fuselage seem a bit too wide? Jolly rogers tampo on tail fin seems a tad large and too close to the edge? Maybe prototype issues.

I remember the recognition the UN Spacy kite had after Macross ended the late 80's. Folks i knew of who never were into anime, started recognizing it immediately as associated with valks, mecha and such. It held its own, like a niche cultural phenomenon back in the day. Then of course the wrangling with HG/BW minimised its visibility and the rest was history. Thats why when bandai did a VF-1J DX few years ago, I was more happy for the sight of the kite, because the kite was back again on a Bandai DX toy after 10-20 (or more?) years...

In the macross valk lore, always had the impression that the VF-0 used real world f-14 and was modified with zentradi tech, so would be significantly taller than the vf-1 valks. This was as opposed to the vf-1 being newly developed?

oh no. Bandai'ed?? Didnt quite notice the scale but yeah that's seems to look quite a fair bit off scale? Perhaps a prototype issue?

Not cheap to us but cheap to bandai as per their cost of paint Yeah pretty bummed they didnt include the YF-21. The one i really wanted... MAYBE BANDAI TOT A FULL BLUE VALK WOULD BE TOO MUCH BLUE IN THE LINEUP. Hahaha...

Very much a missed opportunity as well to put a macross kite on a frontier valk. Just to say, no more Nuns, the OG Macross is back to reclaim worldwide release..
