Loving the prototype shot so far! Do we still call the 1/35 a toy or display piece? If it does transform though, i wonder how would the lighting be handled, additionally there would be wiring components to think abt now, so that it continues to light up in all 3 modes. From the prototype it seems that 1 power source is lighting everything. The other way would be seperate battery packs of course but that would involve turning each component on one by one...

Gundam is going back to its gritty roots, even with IBO having a dark undertone running through it so far. Adding thunderbolt into the mix will surely please the more mature mecha discerning fans in general. More mecha action is welcomed! Looking forward to see them animated

Looks like another gundam anime is on the way, based on the thunderbolt series! via gundamguy... Story Synopsis: Universal Century 0079. Federation troops and Zeon forces carry out a fierce battle in the "Thunderbolt Sector" in what was once Side 4 "Mua". The "Thunderbolt Sector" is a shoal zone composed of the debris of destroyed space colonies, named for the electrical discharges from the metal debris. MS pilot Io Flemming is among the Federation soldiers who are dispatched to the area, where Zeon sniper Daryl Lorenz awaits them on the battlefield. http://gundam-tb.net/

Thanks for the details jarrod, amazing to hear that it looks transformable and not merely a parts swapper. Of course being a proto, would expect changes when it goes out of resin mode. A long range zoom lens would bypass that guard with ease

It would be really far-fetched if they were in Delta, tho shades of frontier with the VF19 advanced inclusion trick seem to be on the mind. Looking at the display titles above the valks, it does look like its a straight release of the M+, M7 tie-in.

haha yea everyone has their own macross favs...at least its survived this long in order to satisfy valkheads like us didnt quite get M2 also, but would be intersting to see how bandai implements the flat pancake valk design! ahhh coffee drinker i see....sorry i dont know what that means

From the article its mentioned that it is 1/60 DX scale. Wishing for more pics on it but have a feeling it will roll in soon as the public gets in. Hey is antibiotictab covering this on youtube?

Thank adrian lozano from ANN reporting it correctly! The ever skeptic in me is saying pls dont let the picture of the hall be fake not to forget perhaps a M7 VF-19 with sound pods and tampo!
