One flap? If u can call it that..still looks more pointed than the other..I tried to reason that it maybe folded wrongly but seems like a totally different shape still to me...edit- 2nd glance yea I can imagine it being same if the right is angled more upwards...Plus I still can't make out the head unit outline behind the cockpit!

I try not to comment too much on colors, as even the anime isn't that consistent scene to scene either..depends if ur a stickler for that stuff... The big grouse many have is the choice of colors of arcadia's leg fins, which seem to be more blue than navy grey. However it's localized mainly on the leg fins and some don't find it too far off from the naval colors. The white Arcadia's 0s does look whiter at the moment for sure! You probably be better off questioning if u are ok with the new mold, whether if u want to pair it w the armor or even if the price is reasonable to u.

The main point is that it would be compatible with the upcoming reactive armour release, whilst the old yamato has a much wider chest which has been mentioned to not fit. Secondly its the updated mold and metal parts on the swingbars. Also,, depending on your preference on anime color accuracy, you may or may not like the paint scheme better.

Thanks for the close-up IXTL...noticed several areas of interest in the pics... 1) Those flaps really got me scratching as they seem to be different in shape between the left and right wing. Not sure if its some form of pull out which were not pulled out properly. What funstion would they serve as the shape also looks triangular... 2) The head structure seems to be very integrated to the extent that wondering if its positioned there or perhaps like the old vf-1's where its underside.... There doesnt seem to be any gaps at all... 3) Hinge on the tail fin seem to indicate it could fold either left or right.... 4)Ankle joints seem exposed...is there a cover thats been forgotten? Not to mention the thickness of the valk from the rear view is very different from the flattish 31! Questions questions!

i would like leave this thread open....there may be more annoucements coming up since the airing is not that far away on Dec 31st.. Its hopefully gonna be more civil and quieter after the mega announcements over the past few days... or perhaps monitor the situation a bit more... -

Ok this has been weighing on my mind...since bandai is planning on the 1/100 vf-0a........would it be possible that........ there would be a 1/100 reactive armour pack also.....i know its too early to even tell but with arcadia's release coming up... more of a budget planning question...

Further news other than bandai will release has been sparse. Not even a close-up pic, but i understand thats the tight security. How does one go abt changing the thread title?

I thk ur right. There is a line across on the area of the torso behind the crotch which may indicate turning point. however it would seem that the nosecone would bump into the crotch armour plate. That would limit approx less than 45 degree rotation to either side. The 30 had no crotch armour to bump into i think....

Yea i suspect so too, but was thinking if there would be an upside down adapter solution tht would work! Something that replaces the bandai ones. Anyway just a tot on the barrel roll idea !

If possible i dont quite like the idea of seperate batt compartments for lighting, merely because often you would always need to remember to remove the batteries. Batteries left inside toys unactivated will leak and can spoil the contacts! My obi-wan kotobukiya almost had the saber light-up battery compartment points corroded, due to my lapse in memory. I prefer a wire lighted system and the plus is that there is possibility of sequential auto light-up. The best of both worlds would be an internal rechargeable batt pack where u plug in the valk and charge it! And u flick a switch to turn everything on at the same time...

wooooooffffff awesome fixture ideas yeti! I would gather they will also work if the mount was hanging from the ceiling? sort of like an underside display or could we turn them over to display a barrel-roll across the ceiling? that would be epic!!
