  1. cool! now u are making a lot of peeps here obsessed too! Which nano block sets did you have to buy to do this, if you dont mind me asking...?
  2. If the blemishes arent too apparent or can it be reduced with the eraser, i would just continue with it... But b4 you return (if thats what you r going for) maybe you might want to sound out to HLJ, if its possible to return the second time should the legs fail then.... if they are ok with it, i dont see why not, its only the hassle of going through it....
  3. Close-up shots of the inner frame reveal steel colored rings on the joints though...elbows/knees/angles/hips....interesting throwback to old kits?
  4. I sanded it down though unevenly, and just to get the socket to close. Leg still stands ok.
  5. I went on for 5 minutes before i saw valks flying around my mind... Much meat for a thread of its own....is there a thread for rights i wonder..
  6. Hmm that sounds too cheap to be an MG ...interesting...need to see if there would be more info in the coming days.... Keep on hoping for those REs!
  7. wow if there could be accompanying lore abt each valk IT would be a fine reference manual too! Maybe the gurus can share writeups... Unsure abt right issues tho... Anyway not to deviate from ur awesome shots... as long as you share with us will continue to appreciate and get into the awesomeness of the macross valk dom!
  8. Am more concerned abt cashflow! There are seriously a lot of stuff coming out tht ....sigh....i.dont.thk.i.can.get....
  9. is that an MG? Dang it looks badass!!!! Whats a high resolution model? There doesnt seem to have the mentioned of Mg on the card but sure looks like one with the frame and details. And these fingers look real agressive....
  10. Or an MG from the IBO series perhaps? Though an RE Jegan would fit nicely too
  11. Scyla you might want to try using a clean eraser to lightly flick the mark out. But pls make sure the eraser is clean after flicking as you do not want to spread more marks instead. I use this method at times for cleaning up panel lines on plamo.
  12. its not necessary, but i thk if the ball cap was too large and the socket didnt close they may have tried to glue it in. Call it a double whammy....
  13. when it finally transformed/stood, not only did i enjoy the toy, but the sense of accomplishment was a bonus!
  14. I would add there is a gap between the ball cap and the metal bar when mashed together. Likely this gap contributed to glue seepage due to insufficient surface contact to bond. I just could not get the ball to sit flush onto the metal bar.
  15. Express shipping would help getting it in fast? It would be awesome if you could get it up to review as all eyes would be on it.. I guess the verdict would be if it survives a few transformations in a row, without detachments.. Great effort by the way, with all the reviews ...helps to clear the landmines
  16. I twitted to Mr K as well, mentioning the non-fit ball and glue with pictures! And he replied as you can see in the pic! Well folks, up to you to decipher mrK's reply on the 0s!!.... btw its amazing......... 1) I can even reach to someone specific in in a corporation far away with a detailed explaination on a particular problem. 2) The fact that i can explain in english and obtain a reply in japanese and get it translated. compared to pre millennia this was never an option to the ordinary man on the street.... Use tech wisely gen x,y or whatever alphabet there is!
  17. The hip socket doesnt close on the ball joint. Plus depending on seepage, extra glue basically glues the half plastic ball to the metal socket. So no, it doesnt pop back in, but requires opening the leg, and tightening the socket and loosening the plastic ball. I havent heard of anyone popping back in. If yes, please share... If you leave it in fighter mode, its basically ok, as there isnt any hip action. But because 0s is prep for reactive armour, battroid is a must....am hoping there would be indications at release time on how sturdy it is...
  18. Am not sure if its the same thing but was commenting on the hip intakes connecting to the body via tabs. On mine, the legs stay connected to the body after tabbing them with both legs on in gerwalk mode. Yea its kind of a bummer due to it being the 0s. However, dont thk there is a rush to cancel yet until after some reviews have come out. But knowing arcadia there wouldnt be pre-order madness anyway and you can still hv a chance to resecure it if reviews are positive.
  19. I think it had something to do with the weight balance as two legs attached to the underside of the valk meant the leg weight on one leg tab was halved, or in other words leg weight was shared when both leg tabs were in. Thats just my observation after i had both of them retabbed in versus when i was struggling with just one leg.
  20. SV-51? talk abt more delicateness!
  21. Who knows if they did a robust enough test...maybe they used ppl with delicate fingers to transform and it passed!...
  22. My conclusion is they should have made the ball larger to handle the stress of puling on the legs.
