I would say your previous yamoto x macross mash-up really got me searching for those figures. They just scream style when paired together. Alas the priority was valks so there was as far as i ever did go (at one point i did have some of them in cart but didnt pull the trigger. ) So that dilemma is kinda in my head again, should there be any walkure figures to go withthe 31's...(which looking how there already are ranka and sheryl dolfies..they probably will!) And knowing how integrated the walkure are with the valks now in delta, the pull is there to get a accompanying figure... Yea not far fetched to thk some forum-ers have her accompanying the valks... mini figures may be too small to show details on the walkure outfits but if they can pull it off, all the better to them....hopefully the price wont reflect accordingly too

notwithstanding small props, but if ever someone (bandai or megahouse) releases walkure figurines in such gorgeous detail, i thk a lot of fans would end up buying all the 31 valks just to have them displayed concurrently. imagine this with walkure and 31's... saburo would need to prep his wallet again...

Would like to get more opinions on them as they are relatively new from shanghai (if am not mistaken). From the youtube reviews of the alien lurker and soldier, they look quite nice and well articulated. Their upcoming hicks and hudson's figures seem ok (not exceptional) but the faces are unlike the characters from the movies. neca issued a power loader last year but missed that that....

I get a nice YAY feeling after watching more of the actual the gameplay. 1. In HW the space wasnt just black, it was colorful and full of mystery. Battling ships against that mega backdrop just gave you that epic feeling. - Here there are glimpses of sandstorms, evening and night dune battles, which so far gave me that sense of style i so enjoyed in HW. 2. I spent a lot of time in HW in zoom mode, watching in awe as there was so much detail taking place real time. - Watching the trails, cannons, beams, missiles all brought you into the fray so to speak and not just as an armchair commander..it was so so addictive watching! - i got a lil of the same feeling watching the battle scenes on dunes... Thinking of getting it off steam as it comes bundled with HW remastered which is a nice bonus. However i dont have the same spare time as i used to have when younger so thats the only consideration to dwell abt... but kudos to Blackbird for getting this far with it! btw the cutscene in the demo is freaking awesome! -

I suspected the macross modellers products would be primarly focused at the february wonderfest, but appears that the soul nations exhibit would also be there. So crossing fingers maybe there would be further info.... btw is there a thread summarising the events of the year?

The shin on the 31 looks thinner than the 25/27/29, no?

The conventional location would be the front of the legs in the shin area. In the 30, you can see the shin area having some width to accomodate hinges and such. That area on the 31 is now reduced to a thin strip from the knee to the ankles. Its a much thinner area than usual, due to the shin having an edged top not a flat surface. Not too confident there would be space for landing gears there, thats why was looking at perhaps an alternative, from the side location. more like F-16 config where the gears are angled outwards..

Thx for the pics! I thk i spy panel line markings above the 05 marking on the legs now that might be a future landing gear chamber... From these closer pics, yeah i think its more prototype than finished... just based on the jagged edges on the head unit parts and some rough edges on the fins..

+1 on the fill-in...thats one of the way to keep the series going based on the original premises...gundam has thunderbolt going for it now... in fact i would mind watching a backstory involving the VF-11's in a more prominent role -
Now, the only thing to look out for is how bad the damaged box is....hopefully nothing too bad ....i went the slow route, so can only check in few weeks time...

Am not too sure about that although it may seem logical. The ghosts in the episode cound rotate, hence requiring a attachment point that could rotate with it as well. The wingtips of the drakens should be able to rotate. Boy talk abt potential stress points! btw, i could not see it clearly in the episode if the wing tips also rotated or somehow its just the ghost body that did..
