Yea the VF-1s was listed as re-stocked. Just so happen ami also put them in as a shizuoka search... i was also trying to find the 1/72 scale draken (NON-ace combat version) from hasegawa (or perhaps it was platz, i cant remember) teased during the early modellers live view. Unfortunately tht didnt seem listed. Or perhaps there would be more news during the weekend...lets see..

I wouldn't speculate yet whether it is or not. All it seems to imply is a launch next weekend. Perhaps someone in JP can confirm.

Updated in bold. Wait for the weekend, there may be new samples or announcements. It happened before they had new item reveals for the public instead of the usual trade fellows. I suspect in order to advertise directly to crowds during the weekend.

The 31C has the black paint around it and the 31A has an extra clear part in front. Differences from the pic should be a combination of paint and angle of POV. YeaH with EW&F, kawamori is chanelling his inner youth. -
The faceplate certainly splits to reveal a linear visor across the head. And I think showing the face split with the rifle extended certainly implies some sort of long range mode. Am sure the DX would have that feature, it's too critical to leave out! Nice catch saburo!

Is that a little bit of a unfilled connector below the FP's on further side? Am wondering how the FP's connectors hold on to the wing in kit form...

Dont see it posted here, so here is a side view ....view... In the model's thread, i brought up the question of how the FP connectors hold on to the wing. Its also slightly curved at the front of the connector without clipping on the leading edge..Perhaps its a model kit issue, am wondering how the DX will look like with FP connectors..

Although the leg base is large, based on the panel yea i thk that would most likely be the ideal solution. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder I dont thk you are the only one, but there are a those who like the anubis look too. I would say its 50-50? I do like the eyes tho, with the menacing lines. just like daylight running lights on cars... on re-check, the commander head line-art and the 1/72 kit has the eye-lines are more obvious. On the DX its more like the inner reflection on the lower eye-lid..

Now that u mentioned it, I thk I need to believe that the draken has to lift its leg back to 'fly' forward in gerwalk mode. There isn't any back facing thrusters at all!
