Am not going for the 31S as my fav valk since there wasn't any armored valk + arad didn't get that much screen time valk battle wise. I would likely go for a 31A, and either the D02/final episode D05. And perhaps chucks since its different as a radome. Or if these are hard to get, i would just get the kits instead. Not to sound catty but maybe that is as much as bandai deserves based on a lackluster delta.

Bandai marketing has been riding on the delta hype! Moving forward, since delta has ended and so will the hype, maybe the PO madness will reduce to back to the normal 5 mins instead?

Hase has so far announced the 1/72 VF-1EX as well as the 262 draken, and both are in 1/72 scale. Were you remembering the initial macross modellers videos when they were introducing the initative? I don't recall larger scales from hasegawa for delta, and so far there aren't release announcements for the hase's 31's yet. They would likely be 1/72 just like the draken, should they be announced.

The DX fighter is generally chunkier, it could be such since it cant swap hands or landing gear to save space, like the kits. Certain angles though she does look slim, so keep looking at the promo photo to remind yourself how slim she is...sounds like real life doesnt it? hehe...

Umm if you want to display a gerwalk you will need the 2-mode set. Then you need to add an extra fighter and battroid. And if you want the semi folding back transforming halfway into gerwalk that's another 2 mode set.

I have a feeling ami and HS pre-allocates their stock to the locals beforehand. That or either the JP site version runs much faster and a min or so earlier than the engrish version. Anyway thats the conspiracy trip for the day..

That looks like its been tampoed! Cool...so if looks simple enough to stick on with minimal fuss..I guess it could work on some level for the DX. Plus the link you posted on the LaserJet Waterslide decals look interesting. I might just want to try something on customising a DX, and would need to get it printed on a color laserjet for colors...

cool to hear that, its gonna be quite fun to see customised 31s! Well m looking forward to see if anyone does that. I dont have much time to model but i would be tempted to try and customise one too inbetween my schedule. So from what u expereinced, the stripes should be applied during the build phase itself?

I see.. were the transformers surfaces similar to a DX too? Did you need to add a solvent or coating, to get it to survive handling during transformations...
