cool lineup! Does bandai's use of plastic seem different ever since the pandemic? The vf-1 and vf-2 seems to be whiter and sharper(on the edges?) than the 0. This extends to DX's as well...not sure if the DX matt finish releases are just a symptom of a different factory limitations and not a design choice... meh...maybe its just me...nvm..back to regular macross programming...

No, I am referring to the covers/tanks(?) on the topside fuselage, so you have a slot for topside armaments and ghost wingtips... explained by @jenius as per ye olde yamato with ghost...😁 oh yes, i that's one thing the HMR will have as an advantage(?) being a parts-former.... i dont mind arcadia's coat tails though ...😁 I think inclusion of a ghost may tip that equation somewhat. A ghost + reactive armor pack HMR would fit in nicely as a premium bandai release. But yes, i note the 1st HMR 1J armored was a combo pack release and so far for vf-1 (M&M, booby duck), supers have been included too. Rolling the dice on it.

Removable fuselage covers. HMR Ghost/Reactive armor/both packs confirmed! .....probably? 😅😁 All right folks....bring on HMR VF-0A/0D and SV-51 next!! oops.... we are getting hikaru's 1S next...sigh...

Somehow HMR cockpits/pilots seem less in scale with each other, compared to the 1/60 cockpit/pilots. Maybe camera angle trickery.... No need to thank me, it was bandai's video after all😄 Ohh translucent wing gimmick! Like a dragonfly! nice one bandai! 👍

Quick out of the cinema comments; the ok; Starts out rushed/cliched-ish, BA was introduced in a quick manner perhaps. 2 supporting justice society heroes were annoying to me but I probably the younger set would identify with them. the wow; Fight scenes were totally badass esp Dr fate fight scenes and effects! hawkman was da boss. Good casting as per expressions/presence. BA’s fleshing out of backstory throughout the movie. And the fact that DJ could stay in character well. Ie you don’t recognise as the rock flying and kicking ass. In short tho, totally enjoyable!! Would say I wouldn’t mind watching it a second time. Very cool vibes throughout. Definitely a cinema worthy watch.
