Nice reminder on history, often we do forget when prices surge. Not mine to speculate if there will be another wave of vf-1s, but an alternative could be that prices are going nowhere, neither up nor down. The awakening I see is the macross hype/marketing becoming stronger each passing year. I don't recall new macross series or macross pop culture/singers being planned so much, before there were years when less/no hype seemed to exist. So, I don't know if there is even time slots for any new iterations of vf-1 toys to appear, looking at all the new valks and merchandising that might be coming. Bandai/Arcadia might not want to risk putting money into new molds of old toys if it means competing against new incoming valk designs.

Oh, guess it felt like the samurai SW took a hiatus inbetween releases, maybe i was thinking abt the time between the original releases and recent releases. But no i didnt bite on the DT, the DX valks and supers took a major bite out of my wallet tho..

Thanks all, just wanted to admire the 262 in a different light/scene. Had fun finding which backgrounds could be meshed with it. sh9000; That would be cool to see, plus you could fit in quite a number of HMR's in due to their size relative to a say a 21" display!

Hulk is probably based on barbarian/brute type personalities more than a creature. I thk the releases on these were quite slow..probably a year and a half gap?

A Samurai Wolvie! Tho i thk him more appropriate as a ronin. His mask makes a natural samurai helmet tho lol ...Plus dat venom samurai and war machine!... Not really into the samurai motifs but interesting to say the least. Moar pics

in fighter mode the pink panels looks ok as it mimics the crystals collar of messers 31, which are behind the canopy and beside the head. however it's an unintended chest pastie in a vf1 battroid.

Ooo nice first appearances collection...Looks minty fresh, those covers sure are classic! nice display idea too...If only i still had my old stash..sigh so wish i still had my amazing Spider-Man 300th, looking at the prices on eBay now.. where would be the best and most reputable channel to procure these issues online, bearing in mind suspicious sellers on eBay... -
Oh yeah plus the only other small caveat is that the forearm armor will have a number modex specific to the valk. But that doesnt matter to me as its not that large, its only on that part plus i dont really care abt the modex-es..i suppose if u want you can rub it off with lighter fluid or alcahol swabs to make it generic but thts up to individual preference...

Or alternative is to get 5 supers and then you will have different outfits err i mean loadout schemes for your valk heheh...i got the blue J supers (altho i dont hv the 31j) for messers F, and might get the black F supers too. though i admit getting 5 supers for 1valk may b overdoing it, plus not all color combos look nice. The supers are differentiated by color on certain areas/ends like leg shin or wing booster ends. Other than those areas the color should be the same amongst all supers. You guys should at least try to see more episodes, maybe like episode 1-4, 8/9(was it messers v keith?), 12/13 and last episode. at least for some valk action heheh. last episode hayate uses a modified scheme and with anti ship missles. The supers seem to be the same but a release set would probably have extra missile parts bundled.

Shucks i didnt know this thread existed! Seems to be the appropriate thread to be posting in my latest time fillers!.. Warping in from Windemere... Bombardment from chaos and walkure colors! Pardon the stand inclusion, didn't want to edit it too much. Mainly shot against the monitor, adjusted and applied filters in photoshop.. my other shots of the draken are in the draken thread...

Looking at the amount of stuff we get, i thk the savings from shipping would prob add up to a free HMR in a year? I wouldnt go so far as to say a free DX in a year lol...

i know but it will be abt june before it reaches me...am ok with it but it would be nice if it got released earlier...having a squeaky bum waiting for it...
