Saburo, will you be doing a shot of the 31J with SH freya? Just curious that's all, don't think anything will come close to the yamato crossovers in terms of hotness! Unless perhaps walkure in their valkyrie armor customes if ever someone releases them...

Thats a long history, i like the way the lore has stood up and expanded over the years. Am still wrapping my head around protoculture, no points to Robotech perhaps haha... Certainly looks like the hip intakes are free and not tabbed up.. Maybe thats the steel pin hip hinge from last years tamashii expo pic, that seems to be hidden now.... it would enable the intake to flip out.. As its a Nov release date i thk pre-orders gonna be soon, either end of this month or early next month..

the vf-2 lost its ummmm balls hinges! Looks like bandai found a way to hide the leg connection hinges and paint it black too. The original shown at the last TN 2016 was...page 263

cant fault evo, valks aren't their speciality plus they had the first shot at it. Am wondering if I should wait, likely there will be non SAP versions, and bandai loves milking molds to complete the fairy squadron but I wonder how long till that would be.

At that price it had better come with the dang sap. But I thk it does come with the SAP as 14/15k for just a 1/100 valk alone will be stretching it ... M2 isn't a fav with me but the vf2ss is unique enough for me to give it a second glance. the proportions really need to be spot on for it to avoid looking like a flattened pancake valk..

Sudden splash of cold reality. Bandai as ever the smarty folks they are pricing this up there knowing the demand for a decent m2 toy... The proportions seem way better than evo, and I like the Sap connectors where it looks like there are movable wing flaps there.. Also seems the tomahawk and phalanx destroids are gonna be pushed back then...who knows maybe they will retweak the tomahawk colors heheh

From AE's page, it lists the parts as no painting required, so thats an indication its prepainted parts. However am not sure if its pre-weathered. I was mulling getting it, but at the moment at least, its a bit too pricey for my taste. -

What surprised me was the fact that the collars behind the canopy on the 31A were likely fold carbon's hence the black colored look of the collars. Plus i learnt something abt fold carbons too by seto explained in the hase 31 and newbiew thread..

Hmm the details abt the hasegawa 31a kit on the likely absence of quartz collars, made me look again on the lack of fold quartz, and this pic seems to confirm less quartz/crystals abound in the 31a. On thr nose especially since there seems to remain only 2 sensors?, really begs for a shark mouth variant on the 31a...

Come to thk abt it, would make sense for the non fsw A series being the base variants to lack fold quartz that give the high performance walkure valks the edge.. So the fsw valk collar crystals give way to...what, carbon crystals?
