MV was pretty influential back then, though am not sure to the extent of what parts of pop culture drove it or vice versa. i was still in my younger teens, but the thing i do remember vividly annoyance/pre-occupation with sockless footwear... -
Yeah a movie format somehow misses the point on what made the series popular...the story pacing, looks +and letting jan hammer's score seep into the dramatics... That said, not sure if any new series would work either...miami vice was a product of its time...

Awesome artwork! What a memory trip to an amazing time! You can sense the passion of macross in the art and explanation even after all these years....Worth as much or more than any official macross book.... thanks for sharing @Shawn!

Andor feels like a proper star wars prequel...all the settings make sense and you get that sense of what the rebellion is all about, and what the empire is... just imagining if anakin were as adult as cassian and struggled through difficult experiences (more in the sense of helping others and failing, yes there was the catalyst of his mother), and in the end defected to the dark side.. more poignant and meaningful...ehh..i shld stop thinking of what might have been... but back to andor...i was a fan of season one and looking forward to season two..
