Just had a tot, would the future delta movie versions b any different? If not maybe a possibility of a re-release of hayate' valk? Speculation of course, but if u really like hayate's version and it's a good price then get it.

Didnt see there wasn't a substantial difference in plastic to warrant a huge jump (just missile pods and extra markings), but i think its more of bandai's way of not giving you the option of retailers discount ... Sigh i had to pass on the regult pods altho i wanted it...just too much spending lately... You might want to try using figinstock in case one of the existing retailers open orders, but there are chances of orders opening up near/on release dates. Not sure abt variants but if the initial sales go well, i dont see why not...

I went with the latest releases as comparison, but would be happy indeed if the price hovered around the armored valk mark. Still i need to budget for the worst to draw my red line ... Buy multiples if you cant decide which mode to display it on. And then add 1 for MISB. Luckily i have so far been able to live with 1 mode, although that sways everytime promo pics come out.

I don't think its nitpicky, too much deviation from source may spoil the perceived worth in authenticity. Whether its stylistically appealing or takes it to a new level is another separate discussion under artistic license.

oh if you are talking discounts the odds are better for a sub 10k. I still see it slightly abv 10k discounted, but am budgeting for a worst case scenario.. hopefully we will know soon along with the preorder date..

I doubt it david, due to what I perceive as extra plastic compared to the strike parts but I would be glad to be wrong.

I still am bummed abt arcadia charging scalper like prices but changing nothing. HMR yes is pricey for the scale but the design quality of certain HMRs and releases that aren't readily available in 1/60 pull me in. That and it saves space. Across the board wise, I do wish macross release prices didn't hv the tendency to climb so fast tho. Maybe that's the perception since there are such a variety being released at such a pace recently..

As much as i would like to also think re-usability of mold lowers the price, i think bandai still prices as per the amount of plastic used. I dunno that's just an observation.. Looking forward to pr-order dates now...

i hope it isnt that high... i dont think its that low LOL..... I hope it stays nearer to the sub 12k mark, since the VF-2SS with sap pack is already 15k. Am just judging from the amount of extra plastic use. Max and milla were 9k with Packs, so the radome parts would fall inbetween the normal packs and the huge SAP packs. What does everyone think? Not as much extra plastic as the SAP packs?

The general rule is to choose to pay in local currency. Paying in any other currency will always benefit the seller as they charge extra to buffer against fluctuations which may lower their returns.

It looks like there would be 3 different displays and those details are gonna be incredible. Not really into static displays either but after seeing some of prime-1's irl, these valk displays are gonna be quite exciting for a valk fan...
