Bandai is releasing a desperate lil draken set just for the F. There goes the rational for the 262 sales. Funny they would re-issue lil draken sets but not supers (talking abt hayates blue with missiles). Perhaps they had lil draken quota's to fill. I suppose they needed an incentive to sell the F again, else folks might just have just bought the lil draken set.

yes I always make sure I clean my hands while handling valks. I wipe my hands on my shirt before swooshing or transformations and never handle my valks without a shirt on. -
The red tipped missiles were made for mirage! And headsculpt came out superb in the photos, nice shot saburo.

I suspect so too. Have yet to see a physical model that actually transforms the radome from folded state. in addition the radome diameter looks so wide that even when folded I think the height of the folded radome is going to pose ground clearance problems for the landing gears. I think there definitely needs to have radome attachments to also provide a neatly tucked away radome within the landing gear height.

the radome is gonna have quite a seam line running across, since it folds when stored away.. unless bandai comes up with an ingenious solution like a radome attachment...

There were parts of this movie that reminded me we need a true star wars, ground battle movie. Rogue one battle scenes was nice, but it felt a bit like kids playing shoot em up behind sofa's at times. -
Its not just macross, all toy and model kits companies are based on mold re-use. Even the whole automotive industry is basically face-lifts of existing chasis and molds to prolong the product cycle.

Seeing as how mirage's set just came out, i hope that the 31a set is just pending an announcement soon. Thanks for the reminder of a potential 31A display idea! i didnt take the non-arad 01 A into account. So its.. the 31a arad, + 31a (02 version) and the 31a (01 plain version) = 11 potential vf-31 variants to collect for a complete collection! muahahah haha a 1/35 vf-1j would be a wallet demolisher! cant even fanthom the price... But was the recent teased DX 1J at TN 2017 a potential release too? that wasn't the 1/35 but a 1/60 scale vf-1j right?

Well they do throw in a helmet less hayate, tho not sure if messer is included. So the count now is 5 walkure valks + the 31j Kai + the 31f lil draken version + the 31a (03 version) = 8 vf-31 variants to collect for those who want to complete the delta 31 collection at this point. potentially the 31a arad and 31a (02 version) would make it 10 vf-31 variants to collect for a complete collection! muahahah *insert the Sesame Street count laugh and thunder here* Well the DX 31 is indeed a wonderfully engineered valk, so that's 10 times the enjoyment! besides this can't match the number of vf-1 variants in the macross verse...

we knew abt the 31f from mag scans b4 the event. so technically, not only nothing new, but practically nothing macross related from the event itself...

kinda doubt there would be macross related news at this TN event. The release schedule for macross from bandai is kinda packed already for the remaining half of the year. If any news, am expecting the next HMR announcement or perhaps a p-bandai super parts for the 31A. That being said am not sure where bandai can slot in a HMR macross release after the ostrich in between all the DX releases.

welcoming the breathing space messer provides! with arad in july, isamu in September and messer in October, bandai is working overtime on 1/60 DX'es. Chuck might be in Jan next year?
