Safest bet would be to get everything 31A related..... In fact, i wonder if bandai has enough capacity to full-fill all future 31A related p-bandai orders. I thk bandai made a killing on the 31A. Its p-bandai pricing higher than a regular 31 'hero' valk, and yet demand still there for it even after release. All bandai have to do is release a 02 and 01 version and armor sets, and folks will squadron-build the heck out of it.

I just cant imagine the time it will take bandai to release multiple armored packs for each individual color. For that reason alone, i think it will just be 3 armor packs at maximum. Conservatively, i would say perhaps a 31A armor pack would probably sell the best, and that's too tempting for bandai to ignore?

I think you just described the very thread you posted in. Just follow the thread and you will catch the buzz... On pre-order dates, bandai announces them only a week before the actual pre-order. So no, you don't get to plan for it month's ahead of time. What may help is to refer to https://tamashii.jp/item_character/macross_series/ for bandai macross release schedules. The special listings on the right side of the macross page, or on their home page, will let you know anything new macross related coming out. Another way is to look at their past listings as a guide to when releases normally come out and plan around that. Subtract 3-4 months and you get an approximate pre-order release date. March releases subtract 5 months due to the holidays.

Just referring to macross which has one hand tied when it comes to international marketing and distribution.. 50 shades of macross pre-orders. Watch if he ties you up every preorder nite. He might secretly not want you to buy anymore macross.. Hahahaha that made me laugh out loud!

Isnt macross a sufficient enough reason? As for the producing just enough, well, if bandai has more control marketing and distribution globally, perhaps they would risk more to produce more. Just wait till 2021!

Just be aware that over long periods (like months?), those stands may leave marks on the contact points between the stand and the valk. Even some flight pose with rubber nibs were reported to have left marks, altho some say those were from a certain batch.

The 31A was more of an exception than the rule for N-Y. Likely due to the over popularity of the toy and perhaps N-Y left PO open too long...I thk the latest p-bandai drakens from N-Y wont face the same issue.. Regular releases from N-Y are safe so far...
