  1. Not Classified but Kotobukiya teased that they have the new female Snake Eyes coming out in figure form. I assume Jinx will be in the works as well.
  2. This reminds me of the Sucker Punch director's cut. It was only worth a watch for the extended battle scenes. The movie was still bad. Also a Justice League review. https://collider.com/snyder-cut-review/
  3. Few things are worth the hype. I already know it probably won't be as good as any of the Avengers team up movies. And recently Snyder said he knew his version wasn't the official version. That DC was still working off the theater version. This will just be an interesting comparison between directors. Not many big movies you can do that sort of thing with. Usually it's just with fan edits.

I seriously hope they are working on a quality Minmay. Maybe it's like the saying they saved the best for last.
  5. Yeah he is not the real Batman in the comic or Batman world sense. But a real Batman if you want to put him in a realistic world similar to ours. I just watched the Harley Quinn movie and although it's not the best. They should keep Margot Robbie after whatever reboot. I read she's in the upcoming Suicide Squad reboot. I thought Huntress was funny in the movie even though she only had a few scenes. Black Canary should have been better but her power reveal turned out really disappointing. I really don't see that Black Canary becoming part of whatever next Justice League.
  6. They still haven't put up the pre-order for the quarter scale Mark 2.
  7. The Nolan Batman never was the real Batman when he decided to retire. And when Alfred said something like people move on. Batman is like the definition of the guy who doesn't move on. I bet if DC gets as far as The Flash movie, they will just use a multiverse thing to reset some characters a bit so the good actors can still play them. They have good actors for Superman and Wonder Woman. They just need to rebuild around them. From what I understand with the New 52 and Rebirth comics. They did something like that. Kind of a pick and choose the good stuff from the bad. Of course it's lazy. But they didn't do the difficult work in the beginning.
  8. I'm sure I said it before. It's probably bad to say it again on a Macross forum. But as part of Robotech...I preferred Southern Cross and New Generation to Macross Saga. It was the adventure aspects of Southern Cross and New Generation. And the hovercycle and cyclone. I really didn't like the mushy love story that much in Macross Saga. I have saved on my old VHS tapes a good amount of Southern Cross starting with the episode with Dana getting captured in the Master's ship. And New Generation starting with the episode when they consider separating.
  9. You guys got me to find the original Battlestar Galactica online. I didn't know that the first three episodes were made as a movie and a TV show. I found the TV version. The show is from 1978 so when I watched it as a kid, it was a rerun. Also, I never saw the first three episodes or movie for that matter. I can't remember any of it. I probably would have remembered Jane Seymour from Live and Let Die. I didn't know the origin of the robot dog either. I love that theme music. It really hit the nostalgia for me. And the designs. I love those pilot jackets. Now I recognize the Egyptian pilot helmets. Also more of the character names. I didn't know the story behind Cassiopeia's character. I just thought she's pretty and has a cool name. But she's some kind of let's say pleasure girl. She actually tells Starbuck that he'll have to pay or see her during office hours at one point during an argument with Athena (another cool name I thought back then). This would have been over my head as a kid. I think when I watched the show, I started a bunch of episodes later. The human guy was running the Cylon ship. He was about to get killed in the TV episodes. And I remember thinking Sheba was beautiful. And she's not in the first three episodes at all. I'm going to find an HD release to buy. Another thing, wiki has a bunch of stuff in the criticism and legal action section I didn't know. Comparisons with Star Wars. And a story about kids getting hit with firing toys. But I think death was one of those urban legends. I guess not though. I remember drawing the Viper a lot. But I can't remember owning a toy. I know I had a Buck Rogers ship. And the bigger triangle type bad guy brown ship. I remember the princess was hot in that show. I'm going to search the toys later.
  10. I didn't know that the original Battlestar Galactica was only one season. I still need to finish that series. As a kid I saw a bunch of episodes. I guess I just assumed it was a long series not just 24 episodes. I want to get a few of those Eaglemoss ships too. I still think the old Superman / Batman World's Finest cartoon is the best Superman Batman story. I need to see it again as I remember a relationship between Bruce and Lois. But it wasn't anything like what's in Justice League. I thought it was Bruce attempting to find out about Superman more than a real relationship with Lois. Especially since Bruce is dedicated to being Batman more than being in any sort of relationship.
  11. I just skimmed though this article summarizing the Justice League sequels. https://bleedingcool.com/movies/zack-snyder-justice-league-sequel-jim-lee/ We escaped a bad one. This sort of thing should have never made it out of the planning stage. Although I'm not a DC expert. I would never think a you're not the father moment would make it into a Justice League movie or comic for that matter. And another thing, I believe some of the tease of the new cut is about Martian Manhunter. However, he's not in the sequels. So I guess Martian Manhunter is just being used to sell this new edition.

    Macross figures

Who is KC? I always see people and companies calling them scale figures. I'm talking 1/4, 1/5, 1/6, 1/7. I think those are the scales most figures / statue companies work in. Those are the scales that companies made a character like Sheryl in.
  13. You need to watch or at least read the wiki on the Batman vs Superman Extended Cut. That's the only way the movie makes some sense. Which is sad considering the money and all the people involved. You learn stuff like why Superman didn't detect the bomb in Congress. Why Batman thought Superman was heat visioning people to death. And other things I forgot. Overall, terrible movie. But I'll watch the new Justice League on HBO just to hopefully close the book on the whole thing. Casting wasn't problem for the most part. It was the people behind the scenes.

    Macross figures

Hopefully this means real figures of classic Macross characters are coming soon. We still don't have a good proper scale Minmay yet.
  15. I don't know why they don't sell that Amelia Earhart Lego separately. Perhaps another is in the works and this is just an appetizer. I was thinking about a few Lego sets but I'm not about to spend $100 on a Lego now when there are a few other things I'm waiting on.
  16. No need to wait. https://www.dropbox.com/s/5zd0r0txgxgkapg/MZ23-ARTBOOK.pdf?dl=0
  17. I wish I could find some Southern Cross cels. I'm still upset that I didn't really go after that Dana in Wonderland cel with background.
  18. I would still like to see Dangaio and Iczer Robo chogokin versions. I know we have a Dangaio coming out soon but it's not a chogokin. The stretch is Mighty Orbots. But they could easily make these. Perhaps Iczer Robo would be a Full Action line. But still, it's time for some more old school robots.
  19. I was happy. In the mail I received three posters focused on Eve from each Megazone 23 part. And they were drawn by Kenichi Sonoda! And the posters were connecting like how Jim Lee draws his fold out covers. It was like Christmas. I couldn't wait to get them framed. But then I woke up. It was a dream. And we didn't even get a new Mikimoto illustration for this project.
  20. I only lurk from time to time on the site now. But some times I think this site is just bots posting pre-order stuff. They have released this Lion Voltron a few times now. And the second time around it was easily available domestically. The Vehicle Voltron is even up on the official Voltron.com site. What people should be talking about is if Bandai will ever release accurate lions which one of you guys pointed out years ago. Or an accurate Voltron without the visible lion legs in robot mode. That's what I would get excited about. That's what I'm waiting for in the Full Action line.
  21. I think I did. I can't remember clearly. But I know Gradius III was the difficult one for me. At least I own the arcade version I think on the PS2 collection. And I was like what is this?! On the SNES Gradius III is easy and fun. But Gradius III in that collection, I couldn't get past that blue bubble stage. I think that is stage 3 or 4. The game slows down, my lasers don't cut through the bubbles fast enough, no where to move, and the ship's hit box is big. I gave up on that for a while and that was years ago. I always loved Gradius II since it didn't come out on NES and I remember playing the Japanese version somehow back then. But yeah on Gradius III. I love this series. I still have to play the original Valis on PC Engine CD. Although I heard it wasn't that good even though it came out last. For some reason I passed on Android Assault. The name is familiar but I don't remember playing it at all. I still want to check out Robo Aleste. It's possible that I owned it or maybe still own it and can't remember. I've been listening to the soundtrack to Sol Feace recently. Great soundtrack. The game was so so if I remember correctly. I think I only have one game on the 32X, Virtua Racing. I didn't like Lunar 2 as much as Lunar. From what I remember it was easier. And I didn't like the setting as much. But I'm going to play the games again when I get the artbook.
  22. This is probably the first time I'm not really excited for a new Ghost in the Shell series. But we do have a new Westworld season which has a bit of Ghost in the Shell in the 3rd season's opening.
  23. Seems like the look of Motoko or just overall Ghost in the Shell keeps taking a step down with these releases after Stand Alone Complex. I guess it was too much to make this look like that Blade Runner anime short. Hopefully if there is a new Mospeada it doesn't go the same route.
  24. This Iron Studios diorama is the best we are probably likely to get. I have small issues with it but overall I like it. The Thundercats releases from just about every other company go the too realistic route and not the cartoon / anime look. I wouldn't wait on Prototypez to make one since they can't even get a good run of Street Fighter II characters going. But they did tease a really good Lion-O a while back when Sideshow showed their forgettable version.
  25. I hope these issues are addressed when Rook comes out.
