    I didn't get it from Frost Vision Studio. I'm trying to find where I got it. I know I had to dig through comments to find it. Mine isn't painted. I think it was in the Deviant Art comments. I know I don't check that site much anymore.

    That's a good win. Did you win it online or attend the convention? If you went did you take any pictures of the Anime-Link booth? What were the best / most expensive cels they had on display?

    I just saw this today. Some people will most likely sell / flip it on the watch sites too. I never got around to watching Ultraman yet. I think there was a bad Ultraman SNES fighting game. I remember watching Spectreman myself.

    There was a Mikimoto Gundam manga I was going to check out. I still haven't got around to it yet. I was hoping that the art in it would be special. I still haven't fully watched or read any Gundam series yet.

These guys should never show their face again on video or in public after only releasing one statue and I believe very late too. I saw that Quorra head sculpt before but I don't think I've seen anyone turn it into a good figure yet. I have those small Disney Infinity Tron Legacy mini statues too.

    Only the SNES Classic for me. I got the SNES 3DS too. I'm going to setup a Starfox display for them in the future for Starfox 2 and Starfox 3DS.

    That ebay price for the lightcycle and Sam isn't that bad considering it cost $300 without shipping when it was released. Sideshow Collectibles was incompetent with the Tron Legacy stuff. They got people hyped and only released Rinzler. I think most wanted Quorra and the lightcycle. That was in the early days of social media promotion where they would say whatever they were working on without actually confirming past the prototype stage. People got tired of that hype without product stuff. I ended up getting Quorra another way and some classic lightcycles.

    I've never seen an episode of the second Gatchaman series. I think I like the OVA version so much because I go through empty spells with anime and I saw a bootleg of the OVA in the 90s and thought that's Battle of the Planets / Gatchaman. It was cool seeing the new updated version after all those years and it probably got me back into watching anime again. It was either that or Ghost in the Shell that did it. Same here. I knew the animation was different. And it was before Robotech. I'm sure like Robotech, I jumped into Battle of the Planets not at the beginning of the show. And never saw all of it. I vaguely remember drawing the Phoenix a lot. I didn't know it was called the God Phoenix until the OVA. As a kid I just thought the idea of a plane turning into a burning Phoenix was one of the coolest things ever. Since I didn't watch all of the episodes, I knew something was strange with Zoltar. He was a guy that seemed to wear lipstick. Guys didn't wear ear rings yet at that point let alone lipstick. It was a while before those overseas music groups with the guys that dressed like girls and wore lipstick. I always found this scene funny. Me too. I wish Kotobukiya or another Japanese company would make the whole group. Even Jun doesn't have a good figure yet which is really surprising. I remember interest in Battle of the Planets some years ago with comics. But I think the stories weren't that good. I know I have a few and stopped because it was so bad. The Alex Ross covers were good though. I think I have the artbook with his work from the series or I want to get it. I know I have a set of cards and these lithographs. One from Alex Ross and a recent one from Artgerm.

    They did release a Tron Legacy lightcycle. Too bad they couldn't finish the line. But their female sculpts are far better now then they were back then. I got him as well. The real Luke Skywalker not that Last Jedi nonsense version. He does look a lot better in person. But that's true for just about all Hot Toys figures. I'm looking forward to what Hot Toys has planned for the possible Endor accessory pack.

    They keep releasing the original but no one wants to make the OVA version. I still have my old version from I think Unifive. Going by the Alpha Fighter, I hope Evolution Toy makes a better God Phoenix. The really expensive God Phoenix from Art Storm I believe is supposed to come out this month. I look for reviews on occasion and notice that it keeps getting delayed though.

I figured some here might be interested in winning one of these originals being auctioned at Anime-Link during Anime Expo.     Always good to see more than just Macross cels. With those Mospeada bike toys coming out I hope more Mospeada cels start turning up.

    Those specs actually look pretty good. Better than the average small desktop speaker setups since this has fairly big subwoofer to help the mid range speakers. I still have a framed Robotech poster and this display is really tempting. I'll wait and see what is announced the Wonder Fest show. I still want DYRL or at least Minmay or Lisa figures. But I don't want to miss out if no one comes out with something better than this piece. Those Prime 1 Studio versions weren't as good as I was expecting.

    Kind of disappointing percentage. I'll probably wait for a big end all Mikimoto book if he ever makes one.

    I don't think I purchased anything. Or I can't remember right now. I might have been thinking that I saw the image before but couldn't remember where. Still I wouldn't know where to put it as I wanted a Minmay singing image and I probably couldn't decide on which Macross DYRL poster I wanted back then.

    We'll see what Arcadia brings later this month. I want an E=X Garland with Eve. But I want both bike and robot modes too. More bike than robot though. The transformation instructions look crazy.
