    Oh yeah... I guess I was right in the first place, maybe. I think so. The 19 comes with adapters and it looks like the stands are made for even bigger valks than the 1/60 VF-1s.

    But Captain America isn't a historical figure... It's more like giving Patton a mask and a shield and he goes out to fight a Hitler with no skin on his head. That's just silly... how can you tell that it's Hitler if there's no skin for his mustache to attach to.

    Pacific Rim is the first time I've ever really seen ann immersive 3D movie and that started off with the Gravity trailer. Maybe it's the theaters near me. I saw PR again here and it wasn't the same experience. First time was an IMAX theatre in Canada. It can't be the IMAX screen because I saw a couple of big movies in IMAX 3D. I remember that screw or nut part though. I either have to find a good theater here in L.A. or go back to Canada just to watch Gravity. I'm avoiding any more trailers and too much info on this movie because if it is like Deep Water then I probably would want to save all the story for the time I'm watching it.

    At first I was disappointed that I didn't complete my 1/60 VF-1 collection when Yamato disappeared. Now I'm kinda glad, sure they're more expensive but I think it's gonna be less than what it would have cost to catch up with the marked up prices of actual Yamato valks. And you get all the extras.

    From what I heard and read (so obviously it's not official), while some people involved in production are interested in adding english subs, Big West has no interest in the market outside of Japan whatsoever. That's where the buck stops as far as Macross.

    I don't mind a bigger box if it's that pretty! Finally Macross toy fans don't get the shaft and Hasegawa is letting Tenjin get on some Arcadia boxes! It is gigantic though...

    That's what I figured those pieces were below the stand adapters on the other pic. They're panel covers on the legs for battroid mode. On the v.1 they're just huge holes in the inner part of the legs.nm that's the upper leg. Intake covers?

    All legalities aside, I can see the Joe and TF fans getting really PO'd at HG over this. Especially since Hasbro/Takara is not too overly litigious about their property with all the 3rd party companies popping up everyday. And now here comes a small company, that probably makes less than these 3rd parties, to sue them over designs that didn't originate from them...

    I'm not gonna tell people not to see it, but the reaction from people that are somewhat familiar with the story is that this is suppose to be one of Japan's most sacred "historical" legend. First, the fact that an American actor steps into the tale and is "their only hope" would make such people snicker and then you add monsters, magic and dragons... then it's just WTF? I mean... it's equivalent to making a movie about Abraham Lincoln picking up an axe to fight vampires. Seriously? An axe? Everyone knows you use wooden stakes or sunlight to kill vampires! It's madness! Madness I tell you!!!
