    Oh no, not for me. Pretty hideous proportions and the face design on Deunan is pretty bland. Looks like Liefeld drawings to me.

    Good episode except for the obligatory dumb moments. I don't get why they don't get rid of the whole walker sneaking up on them moments. They never work unless it's pitch black. They need to run and get cornered by other walkers, otherwise the off screen thing just looks idiotic. Other dumb moment is letting those walkers out of the bus instead of stabbing them while they stick their heads out the window. At least to reduce the numbers first. Oterhwise, I love the strange pairings, especially Carol and Tyrese. We all know where that's headed. Are there other groups that they haven't shown?

    I can't remember the last time I liked a Spielberg film... I'd rather watch Arise than a live version of GitS. As for toys, manga version for me. The Diver Down Statue is still one of my favorite plastic version of the major.

    It's true. You'll never see someone get a project from the show or title it was based on unless it was original like Saw or Paranormal Activity. And the idea has to be really cheap for the studios to even take a chance on it. The problem with this project was that the ambition was bigger than the outcome. Why did they even ask for permission instead of of just releasing it when it was done and why release it in three parts? This was done so that they can hype it up. If they would have just put it out there completed and maybe all three parts at once (or just days inbetween) then I think they would have gotten the same amount the attention from the fans. The problem again was that they wanted studio type hysteria and it backfired. It was a great effort for a fan film but I think some fans bought into the hype too much and thought they could get to work on the actual live action version(?) They'll probably get some sort of low budget work out of it at best. If they were able to do anything better I don't think it was ever showcased in the short or would have been in the third unreleased part. Maybe HG is trying to stay in their good side in case they want to use them for future projects. I think there they'll both be beneficial for each other but if they do that, I don't think either of them will go any further than that because the quality will remain unimpressive.

    DuelGundam, this thread is meant for recommending anime to other people. Those people are able to form their own opinions on whether or not they will continue to watch. You can state opinions once and a while since it's a discussion forum but trying to convince the many different self-thinking members on ANY forum that they should think the same as you time after time IS trolling. Trust me, I'd love to convince Bayformer fans that what they are watching is contributing to the death of cinema and popular culture as a whole but since I respect their opinion and enjoyment, I just stay out of that thread. This post isn't meant to start a discussion on what trolling is either. Thanks. This isn't the place for that discussion and I don't think there's one for it anywhere in these forums.

    Also, he was presumably the world's first cyborg. It's like inventing the worlds first modem and expecting a gigabit connection. Both Robo and ED-209 in the original had obvious limitations for what they were. What they lacked in finesse was made up by brute force.

    Weren't those actual decal sets from Hasegawa? You can try making them yourself. You will prbably need both clear and white blank decals.

    Ah! Cool. Yeah... at 1/18 it'd be totally way to much to print out. I'm already experiencing some thin walls at 1/72. I think 1/100 would be pushing it. I can certainly upload it but I can't guarantee a good print. The stock too longest to model because the side didn't match the profile. It has that curves all around it and especially towards the back. At the end I could have just drawn the profile because at that scale no one was going to see the detail. Can't wait to see the armor! Helmet is gonna be a bitch... lol. The gun looks great!

    Even when I was modeling it for my figures I found the handle to be small. Also the stock was too long as it went passed the shoulder of the soldier.

    Don't forget the size of the mold also. The regult has that huge "head" part that can't be divided up because it would be unstable. Also the long lower legs. Big pieces like that cost a lot to make. The regult has several parts that are bigger than the largest parts on a VF. It's a good idea to hollow it out but size and demand still make it not so viable for production.
