    Sorry, as much as I love Mospeada this is a Macross site and only Macross gets the focus... That's what tags are for. All Mospeada threads should get tagged and when you click on it it becomes a Mospeada forum for you. Same for all "models" or "model kits". It's not like we have threads about super models.

    Same here... I did the same for Gravity but the story went exactly as I expected... but I didn't want to see any scenes over but in 3D type experience. Last post here til release...

    Hi guys... I'm going to start cleaning up the 2 sections. All threads with finished pieces in the models section. Also news announcements about releases will be here also. All WIPs will go to the workshop. Kit build ups meant for resale for will go to the workshop unless it's ready to go. Unpainted is OK, but it has to be fully sculpted. Computer aided modeling step by steps also go in the workshop. As always, these sections are for Macross kits only. Everything else will go to Other Anime and Scifi section. Remember, no recasts of kits even if they've been slightly redone, unless the original kit builder has given permission. Workbench thread will move to workshop also.

    NOT the designer! Though his name starts with a K also... I guess you can say that Mr. K is the head of the Macross toy development team. Also, the engineer stated that he doesn't like the term "designer" because another K is the only real designer... Kawamori.

    Did those 3 new characters with Glen and Tara jump out of Metal Slug? Watching Rick try to get out of the house made me think that I was watching Solid Snake the Movie. I kept thinking that the guy that saw him under the bed was going to have an exclamation point appear above his head. 2 video game references! Both starting with Metal!

    HI sifu74. I no longer recast the option parts but I figured out a how to reduce enough material on the design to make it affordable at Shapeways. Basic parts only. I want to redesign how the seat connects for the complete set. http://shpws.me/q8hd

    120 isn't bad at all. If anything it'd make a great posing dummy for drawing... Not as good as my $15 18" Spider-Man though... lol.

    I coulda closed it if I wanted to... I don't see why it can't be discussed. It wasn't a mediocre line... It was actually great quality. But it wasn't cheap. They price point was pretty high for something that was released at what was at the time a pretty crowded market for Macross toys, especially for a non transforming toy. I'm kind of surprise it wasn't a success since I never seen the VF-1 in person. All I see with the bargain bin prices are the Plus toys.

    It's to further mix up the fans to make them think that if you like Frontier or Plus then you belong to the Robotech fandom. In this case it's better so people would stop calling DYRL figures Rick and Ben. Not really that excited about the SD figs. Far too realistic details. SD is suppose to be cute and simpler. That "Rick" reminds me of the aging kids in Akira. I know, I know... take another sip of the Hatorade.

    1/60 Macross Plus Figures are 100 certain! Was trying to get it out before the 19 release but they moved it up and I have a couple of jobs I need to finish. Let's recreate!!!
