    I still can't get over how they get such a beefy looking Battroid more from a sleek looking fighter even though the FireValk has been out for a wile now. Someone needs to go slap a v.2 1/60 to the v.1's engineer's face and yell "You see!?!"

    Ted has a prop for every girl. Yellow Umbrella and Blue Horn. Take him out of the equation and cut it down to 6 seasons and that would have been a memorable series. Barney was a good character but he could have been legen...

    First off thanks to everyone that complimented the build. I was too busy thinking about the questions to reply. Part of me wants to do the build but part of me is kind of daunted by the scale and the amount of Inbits. My recommendation to the Tundrayeti and Neptune Survey would be to cast the Inbits in the correct color to cut down on painting time and avoid scratches if or when they took the Inbits out. If I was to paint one though, I think it would take me a year to finish. I would probably end up using different clears to give it that tiled panel look on big ships. I never really looked at this ship before. I thought it looked plain but having all the details outlined really makes it look robust in 3D. Now I think it'd be something that would look good in a James Cameron film.

    For some reason I thought they cancelled Helix... guess I heard wrong. The Wonderland spin off of Once Upon A Time was cancelled last week with the last episode showing either this week or next. They'll probably end up in the regular series. The funny thing is they made a big deal about the Mad Hatter not being to work in the show because he's out being the Winter Soldier.

    I hope Tking doesn't mind but since there's no replies to his subject, I decided to change it to a more general thread... Currently I'm watching Justified, Archer and Community among other shows that either aren't worth mentioning or I just assume everyone already watches, like Big Bang Theory. With Justified, I'm really psyched about Boyd's storyline but I think Raylan is getting too boring. I get that he doesn't use his gun until he absolutely needs to but even without gunfights I feel like he's barely part of the story. Water Goggins is pretty much carrying the weight of the show was Boyd Crowder. His fiance fell into the trap of the character either captured or in jail for the season which is never ever a good storyline for anyone on any show. Like I hope that the Walking Dead crew gets out of Terminus quick enough, but that's a whole other thread. Two other shows I enjoyed but are done for the season are Black Sails and Sleepy Hollow. I'm really shocked how good these two shows are, since they are attached to Micheal Bay and Len Wiseman. I'm assuming that their names are tacked on to get more viewers but aside from that I don't really see anything that I expect from either. Black Sails had pretty good production value but the season ended too soon for me to judge the storyline. Sleepy Hollow on the other hand looks like your typical X-Files/Lost B grade mystery but they managed to pull off a rich story line that's fun and creepy at the same time. The last episode was great and had a great twist that more shows need to even call their episode a season finale. Game Of Thrones and Mad Men coming back soon! GoT has it's own thread also.

    Pretty much! I went with the length of those pointy dividers inside the deck of the ship instead to get the length of the box. That's my story and I'm sticking with it! It's entirely possible, but usually when they have something like that, the illustrator will show the 2 views to show the differences that are done on purpose or some sort of notation. The other major difference between views are how much those vents (or lights?) that are recessed when the gates are open but seem to pop out more when they are closed. It's possible that they move out when the ship in transport mode but then there would be an illustration with arrows to show the animators that that's what suppose to happen... I guess when doing these things we have to ask the same questions the animators do except when rendering in 3D or sculpting by hand, it's a bit more difficult because you can't just omit or add lines where you choose.

    They're actually all called decals also... Everyone at the prop shops calls stickers decals and decals water slides... lol. I keep telling them my way is easier...

    I wish they had more colors for that paint. It's good for base paint though.

    Yeah I prefer the Made In China print over recessed lettering... Should be easy to remove if it's on bare plastic. sounding better and better!

    Yup. It's one of those instances where one view doesn't match the others. If you look at the very first picture I posted up top, you'll see that the box matches the top view at first but all the other line art doesn't match that detail. And like Sketchley mentioned if you look at the inside the ship, that box stays there when the gates are open and if it was that long then there can only be about 3 rows of Iigas that would fit towards the front. Good eye though... thanks. Another bit of detail that's there and isn't in the other views is the black recessed panels over the vents(?). I thought about incorprating them but it didn't make sense and looked a lot better without. Trying to make all the anime geometry come together in the 3D world was the hardest task once again with this project.

    Not 100% complete... lots of internal structuring to do but all the outer detals are done... this is pretty much what it's going to look like...

    Are you doing the custom soon? I need some S heads for myself and all I have are As and Js. I was thinking of printing out an S type for myself, but I have a pretty long list of stuff I need to get to first.
