  1. even a crappy screen cap made me gasp when I saw it... thanks!
  2. no harm in asking! Maybe someone will give you a direct reply...
  3. I don't think they're listening to it... they might be hearing it...
  4. Yup. I took the ideal anime look for the robot mode. But then I realized that the arms sink into the body itself. I might have to widen the torso for the other versions. Also from the lineart you posted I'm not really sure that a cannon that size can fit into that armor connected to the arm and still have the sliding mechanisms. We'll find out!
  5. You'll need to clean it with mild detergent and warm water. Look up the pinned threads. Plenty of tutorials here.
  6. Should be after since the last thing we seen him do in Cap 2 was put on the shades and leave the eye patch.
  7. What about 1/18 scale Tapered in the inner calves. Too much kibble and I predict it'll be trouble for hovertank mode. I also have to give it flatter fatter feet.
  8. That's really good, especially for a half hour animated show on a Saturday night at 11:30. That's the same number as Breaking Bad's debut on a Sunday night.
  9. Tetsuooooo!!!
  10. For the 1/72 scale model the most cost effective and least work for me as far as prepping the kit once it's printed is having all the parts separated to be built in any mode the builder chooses. That would avoid people having to pay for 3 models when they only want one or two. If it was different parts for each mode then I'd have to sell it all as one set so I won't have a bunch "guardian mode" parts left over. Basically it's a waste of rubber material, resin, 3D grown parts and time to smooth those parts down and a huge waste of money for the people that want the kit. It's basically the same thing for everyone wanting the transforming version in different scales. Doing all that work for 2cm of a difference would double the cost of each model. It's easy for people to say they want it, but it's a real eye opener when they see the price tag. Those people usually slink back into the woodwork whispering "nevermind!" Let me just say this now... a transforming, color casted kit of a 30 yr old mech that not enough people want isn't going to be cheap. I'm basically making it for myself that's why it's getting made. It'd be ideal to get 30 but we'd be lucky to get 10. watching the show frame by frame... haven't done that since Two Moon Junction in the 80s...
  11. I just saw the "Jodorowsky's Dune" this weekend and Giger was part of that elite team that J put together which Ridley Scott eventually absconded with to make Alien. Everyone should check it out. Almost that whole team that consisted of Dan O'Bannon, Salvador Dali, Jean Giraud AKA Moebius, HR Giger and Chris Foss has passed. It has tons of images that mdern sci-fi eventually used for their films, mostly Alien and Prometheus. It's out on limited release for now but everyone interested in Alien and Prometheus should check it out. It also dedicates a small portion to Giger and the genius that he was. RIP HR.
  12. Looks so awesome!
  13. The scale on these things are kinda arbitrary anyway. There's a 2cm difference in height when it comes to robot mode in 1/48 and 1/60 and the length of it in Hovercraft mode will depend on that. The reason I chose robot mode is because of the height of the bioroid. But it will be comparable to the way Toynami says that it's Alpha 1/55 and Aoshima says it's 1/48 even though it's the same toy. What I can do is provide the pilot as a 3D print out in different scale and you can call it what ever scale you want. Just as the 1/48 Zentraedi I have planned. I'm actually going to pose it next to my 1/60 valkyries so they can stand toe to toe just like the cartoons. I'm turning the screw on that wallet MT!
  14. Once you get your paint and decals done nice and clean, you can play with the texture of your matte clear coat. If you apply it up close to the surface it'll give you a semi-gloss look. If you pull back then the particles will dry mid air and give you a rougher texture. It also depends on the temperature and humidity. But once you get the technique down, it's easy to match that Yamato paint surface.
  15. yup... this is the first suit I've liked since the first Keaton movie. So far I'm liking it more. Watch it be pink in actual color...
  16. "Stupid Robin! There's another scratch!" I'm liking the suit and what we can see of the car. I hope it's not another stiff neck Batman though.
  17. Rendering is better but both character and mechanical designs are overly complicated. Especially when the story is treading over old grounds. Are her exposed boobs tactical like Batman's yellow symbol on his chest?
  18. Yeah. I was disappointed by the NBC logo. When it began I was thinking it was a BBC series. But it does look better than the Constantine movie with Keanu, content-wise. The movie wasn't bad, but it suffers from being a star vehicle rather than a direct interpretation.
  19. http://youtu.be/uPE2oBnzROY How long before cancellation?
  20. Saw that... my niece figured it out before I did. So I'm thinking they don't have anyone casted for the part yet.
  21. In B_A_T's review he used Bandai trident stand... that may be more stable for this heavy valk. http://amzn.com/B00B8IWJXO
  22. Looks like Hannibal got renewed Tking... time to look for it on demand.
