with vynils stickers I sometimes overlay it with a low tac drafting tape. So when I sometimes have to remove it, the tape will protect it from stretching. I don't think the tape will do anything to the image since it's heat transfered. hope this helps. Add: Do this before you lay the whole sticker down. If you lay the whole thing down the low tac tape will pull itself from the sticker.

They sell matte and gloss coating in art stores. I don't know if that'll fix your problem. It can protect from minor scratches, but as far as stretching... is it cracking? What is it doing?

I knew of the omitted wedding scene, but never knew he contacted the Macross. Should omitted scenes even count as far as perceptions? I was just going by what is documented on the screen.

the cheapest way, and also lasts the least, but it could be what you are talking about is to print them out yourself. Get 2 kinds of sticky paper from whichever stationary you go to. One white and one clear. Print them out, coat them with protective spray and then cut them yourself. Quality will depend on your paper and printer.

hmmm.... after reading the last few posts it seems that mostly everyone agrees but there's still to be argument. Anime/manga is a genre where people choose to draw in a similar manner (read: similar, not exactly the same), so I don't see why when it comes to Yune it becomes imitation. All of the Tatsanuko produced characters that this argument stems from were drawn very similarly even though they had seperate and very talented character designers. (Mikimoto vs. Amano) My belief is that Yune adhered to the style that was chosen for this type of anime. So, quit the witch-hunt. Like JsArclight said, if it's not him it would be somebody else. (He's still a putz for that Studio Yune thing. )

She seems to have a preference of red mechs, according to M7. When Gamlin crashed her VF-1J, she had her VF-17 painted red before she piloted it. It would seem to me that the couple kinda went rogue after Max disappeared. I would doubt that he got a hold of the Macross and asked to fly for the Meltrans. As for the blue uniform and blue Q-Rau? Who knows how the hell they got a hold of that. Maybe it was from a dead Ace (like Millia) waiting to be cloned. I can't imagine Max asking for a custom color and the uniform did make him look a little feminine, with the wide hips look and all. Maybe morally he wasn't a traitor, but what would you call someone that donned the enemy's uniform and flew the enemy's battle craft? In the TV series, Millia was lucky they saw her wedding and sent Exedol. If not who's side would she be in? I know she wouldn't destroy the Zentraedi battle Pods, but disabling them was still an act of treason.

nice work. I see that the Q-Rau isn't that much bigger than the VF like the toy suggests. Doesn't matter because I'm gonna display it next to my 1/48 anyway. But then that makes the pilot way smaller than the VF's when they are suppose to stand almost toe to toe. That's the inconsistency that is anime, I guess. I wish someone would make a site that is pure Macross.

Personally I would love to see a SOC style Destroid line. They are suppose to be the Macross' version of tanks so some die cast would give it the feel. Put some rubber in the knee joints and where they are suppose to be and clear plastic on the lights. Removeable missiles would be cool. And everything Drifand mentioned in the first post. (Oh and a limited number cel... )

I think the piece Graham is talking about sits between the chest and back plate of the battroid, so there's a chance you wont be able to see it that well.
