Everyone assumes that it's so random (because we were all told that way) I bought 2 sets from Tamim and when I opened them, they pretty much came in order. THe solid hair on the left side and the translucents on the right. There's also an order in how they are packed. First Hikaru, then Minmay, Ishtar, Mylene and last Mao. It's the chase figure that makes them random, which you have a small chance of getting. I called Kevin up to tell him, I managed to reach him but he had already mixed up a couple. So hopefully some of you got full sets from him. I'm just letting you guys know so when set 2 comes out, you won't hesitate to get them if randomness was an issue. It's the same case with the pencil sharpeners. You either get the full set that is pictured on the top of the box, or you get the ones pictured on the front, with the chase figures making them even more random. The pencil sharpeners are harder to collect becasue it seems they sell more of the ones pictured on top. IMHO, this whole trading situation bites. Just sell the damn sets complete. EDIT: My sucks is grammar.

This is exactly what I'm talking about. I'm about to plunk down for 4 sets of FaSTpacks. Whos' to say they won't "reissue" it. I'll probably get one Hikaru 1A and a Roy because I can't stand the nosecone and wings falling off during transformations. I'm very happy with my Max 1A and Low-Viz though. As for Hikaru being late, I rather wait and they get things right. Same for the monster and the Q-Rau. Love and hate Yamato for doing this...

Everything can be summed up by answers that explores the nature of screenwriting and what tells the best story. But where's the fun in that? Justvinnie asked the question assuming that there is plausibility in the scenario, as most subjects in this section are asked. The argument is still valid: If a being could be engineered solely for war, would that mean they are undefeatable? But then again we could just answer the obvious; it's just a cartoon, get over it. Which would totally invalidate the existance of the Movie/TV section.

BTW, Guld wasn't genetically engineered even though his Zentran fighting instinct were borned into him. And it would seem to me that the main greatness of the Zentran race was numbers. Did you see how many they brought just to destroy the earth??? Talk about overkill. I for one would love to see a fight between the them and the Supervision Army. If they had half the number of the Zentradis it would still be one gigantic brawl.

If there are issues with this release, is there a chance Yamato would come out with an improved version? I'm definitely buying them, but would hate to get four sets and later find out that there's a fixed version.

Max was just an great anomaly. He fought like a machine. Kamjin was an officer. While he was ruthless, he probably did more from the back of the line. And when he was at the front, I suspect he used plenty of dirty tactics. Just like Bodolza, I'm sure he would have no problem cutting down his own men just to hit his target. Guld's blood was diluted down by human blood. While he was good, he was systematic and Isamu was a chaotic S.O.B.

Same here... I don't know anything about micromachines but those Pencil Sharpener valks are pretty small. No wheels though. They would make good chess pieces, like people here are always looking for.

The answer is... YES!!! Actually, I don't like the meltran flight suits all that much. Neither the TV of the DYRL ones. And I'm kinda sick of the Minnay ones (unless maybe the shower scene, haven't seen those ) I would rather see something from the VF-X2 or maybe one of Millia's kids uniform, Komilia or Emilia. I don't which, I can never keep them two staight...

Really, I used it because it was enough as a challenge and it was a simple form. Not to mention cheap. Complications are good. There's nothing like mistakes to tell you what you are doing wrong...

I've always enjoyed semi-cheap horror flicks like these; Pumpkinhead, the first Nightmare On Elm St., Hellraiser, Evil Dead 2, etc. but I'll avoid this movie and the first because the director, Victor Salva, is a convicted (pleaded guilty) child molester. I would never see anything this guy is involved with. If that's getting too political or personal for these boards, I apologise. It's just something I feel strongly about.
